I love u both Albeli Ritu I am inspired about making vlogs n I started thinking about this seriously n Harnoor is the boy I relate with my son who is also studying at US.
I love both of you and enjoy both of your work, THANK YOU SO MUCH but let’s stop discussing salary. It is not good for the mental health of students in India, and to some extent, it can be misleading. It’s 2023, and I want to share my personal experience. - Things have changed significantly compared to the state of affairs ten years ago, especially in the last five years. As a rule of thumb, if your compensation is X INR in India (in Pune, Bangalore), purely from a compensation standpoint (ignoring everything else), your compensation should be 5X USD in the US (in a decent city like Boston, NYC, or the Bay Area). - If someone is earning 10L in India and comes to the US to receive around 80K USD, it is definitely worth it. However, if someone is earning 1cr in India (which is quite common these days), their compensation in the US should be at least 600K USD to maintain the same lifestyle. - I dislike people who say, “Here people do their own work, unlike in India where we have home support, etc.” This is a misguided statement. We do have home support and helpers here as well, but it’s just that we cannot afford it. Unfortunately, not many people acknowledge that. Survival in the US is affordable, but luxury is relatively challenging. On the other hand, survival in India can be tough, but luxury is inexpensive. When we earn in the US, we should compare our standard of living and everything else in the context of the US, and the same applies to India. I have lived in India since birth, but I have never seen any students begging for a job at a restaurant. However, here in Bay Area, NYC and Boston, I see students hopping from one restaurant to another for part-time jobs almost every day. It’s not a bad thing to work and earn while studying, but imagine if I were to ask the same student if they would go to a KFC and seek a job in India. We all know the answer. India is very different now, and the days are gone when people used to move to the US for better work and compensation. Nowadays, most people come to the US if they are unable to achieve what they want in India. For example, if someone fails to secure a seat in an IIT, they can easily come to the US and join some average college here. It’s relatively easy. Lastly, we should not boast about the company we work for because no one really cares. To the company, we are just a ‘number.’ We, as employees, often obsess over the company, but the irony is that the company doesn’t care about us, especially during tough times.
Wow. ......maja aa gaya.Ritu u rock .nice vlog 👌👌👍👍👍👍.I am from dehradun.....apana koi usa mai ...itana smart RU-vidr ..bahut khushi hoti .keep it up👍👍👍👍

The caption is so deceiving. You cannot compare incomes of two different currencies by just converting. You need to take value of currency, cost of living, etc in account.
Harnoor please do a video on your tesla. The things you like about it and what should be changed. I've really wanted one but the the few charging so frequently is intimidating.
informative video , yet again!! according to me , if u have the ambition & really want to pursue higher studies abroad , u should know the pros & cons in doing so ; somebody has mentioned in the comment about the financial aspect & parents spending in crores to send their children abroad ; I am really shocked to see this ; first of all, why should you let your parents pay for your higher studies ? there r education loans available & u should repay the loan once u start earning & not your parents ; I am very proud to say that both my children did their Masters abroad & they repaid the entire education loan themselves, without taking even a single paisa from us !! 👍; this will not only help them understand the value of money but also make them more responsible in life !! btw, there's nothing wrong in doing partime jobs to meet your day to day expenses ; it's much better than taking money from your parents 👍
Hello ritu Good to see ur interview with enterprising professional in America. How about ur objective in USA Good to see many young Indians engaged in making videos on various aspects of life in the countries they live This is also a profession .Despite earning good amount of money Very few Indians r leading a.virtual comfortable life Its again a struggling life On the contrary Indians r leading a far greater comfortable life.....cheap work force is available to even middle class. .families in India I can only pray for good senses to prevail among young professionals in India not to force their parents to spend not less than 1c on their education in foreign universities just for this kind of hard life Money is available every where
It's subjective but the quality of life in the US is a million times better than India. It's just depressing for me to live in India, the culture, the society and everything literally. I'm better made for America. Likewise, everyone's different.
Forget it School teaching is only good in few places in USA ......one such place nabrasaka Discipline is 0 Behavior is aggressive in USA Try as professor job in USA
Please stop converting US salary in INR. It just conveys the wrong perspective cos someone from India it seem like a lot but its really scraping by if you living in Tier 1 tech city!
Life in India is trash too. You've to make sooo many sacrifices to get a few things done. One a wise man said, The grass is always greener on the other side.
Mam aapne ek important news pe to video banaya hi nhi jo h1b visa hai wo ab USA me Rhete Hue Hi renew ho jaayega uske liye bich me India aake wapas visa apply krne ki Jarurat nahi Hogi
I don't see any achievement here by this boring dude cracking exams and settling in forign nations... 🤔 my patent dint go to forign to educate me but they built 2 homes purchased 2 plots and educated me and i have settled next next to them... they r happy and I'm happy.. and I don't have debts..
I don’t know, why people still calculate their earnings in INR after coming to US ? Doesn’t it sounds foolish?????? 2Cr i mean how are u comparing it when ur expenses are also in dollars man … and then taxes and other loads of miscellaneous expenses, after which the take home is way less .. I literally stopped this weird thing in the very 1st month after coming to abroad !!
India needs to celebrate merit, in order to arrest brain drain! Plus control population, pollution and infuse ethics and honesty in systems…… loved the conversation between the bright young Indians: stay healthy and happy 🙏
Bhai 2 cr Indian currency ke hisab se hai. American currency ke hisab se 25000$ hi hote hai.. mahine ke 20000. Upar se inflation rate bhi jyada hai. Kewal most possiblely 40% savings hoti hai. Jabki India me 70 to 80% savings ho jati hai. On income in int to misguide karna band karo
Bro you forgot 1 zero! I know value of 0 is zero but thats before any number not after any number. 2 cr Indian currency is $2,50,000 which is really great salary in USA.
the woman needs to slow her speech down, she speaks too fast, you need to be worthy of a listen.Right now she motoring off her mouth like an formula one racer.Poor.
