I immediately knew I would love this song, especially the first time hearing & experiencing that soaring, glorious feeling of elation when the chorus first hits, “You can DraG the LaKe, But You Won’t FiNd Me” 🖤 This song expresses what it is like to have depression, but to still have the ability to sing with Hope in your voice, in the darkness it is comforting to know your not alone, the light is always there, and you can make it out alive. This album is so well written & relatable on so many levels. Thanks for continually making amazing music 🖤

This song describes the pain and anxiety of life, and the melodic voice of Arhen shows the beauty of a lost lonely situation. I saw the boys play this live in concert and even now I still get a frog in my throat a tear in my eye with amitys display of majestic hardcore

Few bands/musical artists out there can continually evoke an emotional response from me, but The Amity Affliction keeps coming up with these amazing ballads that hit me right in the heart. As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety for many years now, this song brings me to tears every time. It hits the nail on the head of what this shit feels like internally and it honestly makes me feel better to know that I’m not alone. Thank you guys 🙏🏾

Thank you The Amity Affliction, you saved this boy from making mistakes, you shown me to move on. You shown me that life has way more to offer. I was in a dark place but it felt like your songs spoke to me, they dug under my skin and made me cry, made me rethink my darkest decision that could've affected so many people that loved me. Hassan Alnajjar - A65AP I listen to everything, but mainly rock...the heavier stuff. I wasn't allowed to listen to rap or hip hop growing up. My parents listened to classic and jazz music mainly, so that's what I listened to growing up. I played in the orchestra for 8 years of orchestra blah blah blah. My two teenage sons have followed in my footsteps...classically trained muscians with an ear for everything....not just what I guess black people are typically thought to listen to. 🤷

This song is seriously so gorgeous. First time I heard Ahren pull off the falsetto in the chorus my hand legit went to my mouth like, "Wow." This entire album is different, the sound is so much more raw and real than anything you've released before. The riffs and the vocals are just ugh

I was listening to this at work and remembered we have several pianos around so I got the intro down by ear if anyone wants to know. Find middle c on the piano aka c4 and go up to the f4 key. the notes are f -f#- c# 3 times then it's f-f#-g#. Don't know if that's helpful but I thought it sounded cool for how simple it is.

I was at one of your first Melbourne shows. I’m sure you don’t remember Joel, but you literally said to not take drugs or drink then started screaming. Mid way through one song you got into the pit and we drank a Melbourne bitter together mid song. This band is amazing. You guys have saved lives
