Chaco Culture National Park is a World Heritage Site located in the arid desert lands of New Mexico. This sacred site, often called 'the centre of the centre' housed an ancient civilisation that, despite living in extreme weather conditions, built complex multi-story structures and developed trade routes throughout present-day Central America and the United States.

I learned about this place from a book called "Bone Walker", written by archeologists W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O’Neal Gear. It's the 3rd book of their Anasazi Mysteries series.

The Four Corners Area USA - the Hopi Native Americans say is the HEART of Mother EARTH. It is a very SACRED Area. It is why the Hopi Native Americans live close to the Earth and take great care to RESPECT Mother Earth. They cause as little harm to Earth as possible. The waters were always fresh & clean due to their care.

There be some haters in the comments ... or more like elitists? Like cool, new world civilizations are younger than those found in the continents of Africa and Asia. But some of the comments seem to imply new world civilizations are just inferior to other continents' ancient civilizations. 🤔

Absolutely!! But this is lifecycle on earth!!! If you see nowadays this civilisation makes same mistakes!!! Major development it’s located on costliness for trade convenience! Big earthquake will trigger huge tsunami and this will end this civilisation unless you will become wiser and be prepared and help people with brilliant minds creativity to create places that be safer from natural disaster and this civilisation could have better start to build new civilisation!!! Urban people don’t know how to survive without this system that this civilisation has built and its not rocket science that they will have tough time to survive despite there be everything to do so!!!

The civilizations of Harappa and Moenjodaro predate this and other civilizations in the western hemisphere by about 5000 years. These mega cities hosted thousands of people, traded with Sumeria and Mesopotamia, laid out their cities along a grid, had covered drainage, used baked earth pipes for water, and syphoned water from the River Indus using hydraulic pumps. The cities were located at the banks of the Indus and were therefore built on top of platforms sometimes 30 meters high, made out of baked brick. Cotton was cultivated here, so was Indigo. The civilizations were destroyed by unknown forces, and the system of writing is complex, using many complicated symbols which have still not been deciphered. These cities are situated in my country, Pakistan, and are 7000 years old. The Pueblo culture is recent comparatively

While I understand your point. I don't necessarily believe it undermines his credibility. Because I think most people understand what he was trying to say. But it makes it very obvious that you were offended by it.
@ambergris5705
@ambergris5705 4 года назад
@@cgustafson240 No, it's not really a question of offense. It's just that the video makes some pretty bold claims, and that for me as a viewer to take it as serious, I need to be sure to know what they're talking about. And a mistake like that is the kind of vagueness that is not admissible from a scholar. Even if it understandable, it's not precise enough. Also, I'm from Europe, so I don't have any claim on the ownership of the Silk Road.
