I was somewhat surprised at the absence of flowers everywhere in Ireland. Soil there is sooo good and rich, but many home owners don't grown gardens around their houses. I was told that folks are too busy to plant flowers...
We did go to Our Lady of Knock, it was beautiful and not very crowded. We stayed there for 3 days and went to adoration, daily Mass and touched the wall without any line of people to it. I bought the best book there in the gift shop - "Go to Heaven" by Fulton Sheen. Had great moments reading it during the trip.
That's so incredible!! I'll check your book out. I love fulton sheen. One of our local priests was under Fulton sheen's tutelage and loves him dearly.
