Honestly, this is why this anime is amongst my favorite for romance. It's not impossibly... Possible🤔? It's realistic. Not to mention, a lot of people have an issue with that. Yes, they should know it themselves, but it's not easy at all. This anime touches on that so smoothly and elegantly to me. Furthermore, it shows how much positive reinforcement is a good rewarding system. It also touches on other things, but this is one of my favorites. Aha.. And yes. I'm, unfortunately as well as fortunately, someone who would like to be told "You're worth it" by someone who is learning me as a person as well as a romantic interest😅😊

@@PMG369 Kimi ni todoke, if you haven't already seen it. Itazura na kiss is a little more edgy. Not similar but one that will suck you into binge watching- Oniichan wa oshimai.

I love sincere and non-contrived relationships as well. Though a relationship where a manipulator develops genuine feelings (friendship, love, trust) and changes for the better can also be good. Unfortunately nowadays people love manipulative characters who reject love and never develop, though honestly Amane is much more of a "chad" than any of those who never learn nor develop.

@gregmonks5762 I've seen kimi ni todoke, but... it has a very slow pace; I mean, they didn't show one kiss, they had misunderstandings over misunderstandings for two seasons, and then it ended up with a poof instead of a boom. I enjoyed it anyway but it has nothing to do with The Angel next door spoils me rotten. It would be cool to have an AI analyze previously watched anine and find suggestions based on liked elements

The LN truly is great and like Aedrux said…it’s probably gonna speed run stuff to get to a certain volume. If you want more. FS read the LN from vol 1. Great read.

Welp, I will be the fourth person supporting the LN. I may have set my expectations too high for the anime. I don't know why, but I was expecting a self-narration from the MC at the beginning of ep 1. Something similar to OreGairu. However, I am just going to enjoy the ride with this series. I cannot wait for the mom's part unless it gets rushed over. Highly recommend reading LN, which has 4 volumes released already. Volume 5 will be released feb. This is a nice sweet slow RomCom. If you want a sweet tooth from an anime, then this one is for you.

I was shocked when I heard this and it sound so familiar the moment I heard Oishi sing I'm like what you go from a crazy awesome song like Hollow Hunger to a jazzy awesome opening like this caught me off guard

Well, she’s considered a Angel. It’s typical in religious circles and etc to see angels be able to walk on water, kinda a holy godly thing. It’s symbolic 😊

Thankfully it's not a harem, and in the LN there's not too many tropes like that besides MC getting embarrassed at the touch of a woman
