Pig Crazy Girl One cannot simply remove Deadpool from our minds, only he can do so if he chooses it. I guess you could if you gave him truckload of burritos and Hot Pockets, hahah
the irony is, the fact that they were figuring out they weren't real, made me feel like they actually were. nothing says real like realizing youre ceasing to exist.
I know right. Family Guy has that same effect on me. A lot of episodes have the characters be so analytic about their cartoon existence, it really seems that way haha
***** Whats more ironic is that this episode went against Nickelodeons rules that they couldn't say they were cancelled, Which is how they got cancelled in the first place.
This honestly would have been cartoon history. No one cartoon attempted this as a episode. I mean cartoons do break the 4th wall but the beavers actually started saying their voice actor names, the company and from what we hear, they started to mess around with the animation. Nickelodeon screwed themselves over
Meme Depends on the age range. I'd say 8 year old or higher kids would begin to understand, plus we dont know how it would have been animated. It would have been cool to see them tearing everything apart
Well there WAS that 4th-wall joke in Chowder where they switch to the voice actors in the studio for a minute because "they run out of funding". So now there's at least that.
ky i've seen that, it's such a cute little vid, my only problem with it though is how out of character the fraggles are, they're not as expressive or happy, they're just more like normal people than magical creatures and it makes me sad
Norb: "The Cartoon-being-over guys rerun it over, and over, and they get lots of well deserved money." Dag: "And they share it with the guys who made the cartoons right?" Norb: (LAUGHING HIS ASS OFF!) Welcome to the animation industry.
they should have done this. it would have been a good way for kids to learn about animation and animated shows, including the fact that they all have to end.
I agree completely. Nickelodeon doesn't run on that mentality, though, considering they kept Spongebob going for over 13 years. Hell, they don't even want shows to hint to the fact that they're ending, part of the reason why this never saw the light of day
GUASON That's probably because of the circumstances surrounding the ending to each respective series. The cast of icarly were going up and moving on and if I'm mistaken that's the premise behind the end of that series. The ending of Angry Beavers was purely made because Nickelodeon likes money and having the cartoon point that out to the viewer would potentially backfire on the network. I think these days with the internet everyone's more well informed and can learn why their favorite show is being cancelled. I think an ending like this would be more likely for a tv show tv, if the network is gracious enough to give the studio the heads up early enough that they could produce an appropriate finale.
+[thomasandmario7] That wasn't the producer, that was the guy who found the original recording of the voices. He then uploaded those here and soon other videos ( Just like this one ) made others too spread the word ( or get views )
+Zachary Romig No at one point Dag/Richard mentions someone is laughing , I do think it was someone in the room with them since they likely knew the episode wouldn't really be made and it was probably fun for the staff.
Oh trust me, this isn't the only man you've had with you since your childhood, it gets pretty overwhelming. Jim Cummings, Rob Paulsen, Tom Kenny, Jesse Harnell, and that's only the start 8D They're even around in today's video games. Jim Cummings has done voices in popular games like the Elder Scrolls 83
The series wasn't cancelled because of this episode, this episode was written because they were being cancelled. Other than that the caption is mostly accurate.
Oh my god someone PLEASE in the love of BEAVERS and ANGER animate this beauty of a sound recording!! this is the most beautiful and fitting ending to a childrens cartoon show I ever.... saw? heard? witnessed? its just so perfect to the sarcastic and fun nature of the show it has to be animated some day!!
+Sterlin_The_Artist If you fail, know that I also want to animate it myself but I'm still learning how to do that in school ;; so know that THIS WILL BE MADE ONE WAY OR ANOTHERRRR
@@wozthescott2804 The show was animated by Rough Draft Korea. They had animated multiple cartoons, such as The Simpsons, SpongeBob, The Powerpuff Girls, Ren and Stimpy, and many more cartoons.
This is pretty great. I mean if its gotta end why not go out with a big F-U!? This sounded like one of those urban myths (especially the creepy pastas) likes Dexter's Rude Removal. But both proved to be real.
Hearing Richard scream Norb's name in a coughing voice is hilarious. I know it shouldn't be, considering how Dag's supposed to be choking in the scene...but it is
We should start emailing and fan mailing the crap out of whomever's got sponge bob in his hands (let's just hope it's Hillenburg) and tell him to axe the like, ten season series and to end it off like this just half off scripted madness (most of my unreleased animations. 'Cuz I don't tubes)
THE FORTH WALL IS GONE they took every piece and broke it into smaller pieces. I need this audio to make an animation as a fan of the show I feel like that's my job to
It's nice to know that these guys are still acting. If this is all improv, then they did a terrific job and if so, I wish they'd done more. This was really funny. I enjoyed it. :)
@@cedarian4643 yeah cause nick wanted to rerun it, so they never aired this episode so that kids wouldn't know it was a rerun and that there wouldn't be more episodes
Well the series want getting much viewers and this episode was never animated because they broke almost all the cartoon rules releasing out that there show was going to be cancelled
This entire dialogue is absolutely brilliant. They didn't just break the 4th wall, they nuked that sucker. I love how they just started using each other's real names intertwined with the characters.
It was pretty stupid for Nick to never air this, they even said April's Fools at the end meaning it wasn't necessarily the real ending and they could continue the series whenever they wanted to.
This pretty much proves what my parents suspected when this show aired while I was growing up. They used to tell me I shouldn't watch it because it was 'Stoner TV' - HAA! Without the animation to go with it, this really is a whacked out drug trip LOL!
Daggett: Do you think we'll ever be brought back somehow? I mean, there are still VHS and DVD releases. Norbert: I hear the network is pulling out a new cartoon about a crazy alien stuck on Earth and I think your voice would fit the main star. Plus I'm already playing a talking cat on a show about a little girl with magic powers. Daggett: Which one? (starts laughing) Norbert: The one based off the old comic book by those Archie guys. Did you think I was talking about the one from across the pond with the skirts? (joins him in laughing as the two are erased. We then see Mitch Hauer in a cafe with Stephen Hillenburg discussing their shows) Mitch Hauer: And that's how I intended on ending the show, before Nick decided to rear their ugly heads. Stephen Hillenburg: You have quite a story. I on the other hand plan on making a Spongebob movie to end it. I mean, we gotta pull the plug on a successful show at one point! What could happen if it were to go on forever right?
What a lame rule Nickelodeon has! This would have been amazing to watch, although it is pretty amusing to just listen to. Very funny hahaha EDIT: This is literally just a podcast. An Angry Beavers podcast. I would pay money for that shit.
I think it's sad how uptight soccer moms got angry that Norbert said "shut up" which nearly got the show cancelled after only being on for a year. That is NOT the only Nicktoon to have a character say that. There were a few Hey Arnold episodes and even a couple of Dougs and Rocko episodes which were on before the Beavers.
It was actually the execs, he felt he didn't want to teach kids to say shut up because his son said it to him once so he banned it in cartoons for a while.
I loved this show as a kid, even today I bet it would hold up very well. listen to these guys. Let's get a remake with all original cast. Such nostalgia; reminds me of the days when I was young at my grandma's place in the country, when life was so peaceful.
I would have loved to have seen this as a kid. Part of the reason I migrated over to anime is that they have a beginning, middle, and an END. It would be nice to be able to have some closure with your favorite shows by having some kind of ending. For some reason, I really loved Norb as a kid, but now I think he's stuffy and kind of an asshole. While Dag is always picked on and spazy, he is much more honest and a kind person. So I guess dag is my favorite now, while Norb used to be. Its weird how things change. I kinda wish they developed to secondary characters more and gave them more episodes.
And, to think, they canceled shows like this and Doug and Rugrats and Real Monsters and Rocko's Modern Life, to make room for shows like SpongeBob and Fairly Odd Parents. No wonder kids today are growing up brainless...
One, no show is cancelled for another. Two, all those shows ran at the same time as each other besides Real Monsters and Rocko. Three, c'mon dude. Lets not act like these were high class shows. Rocko's main restaurant was an illusion to jerking off, half of real Monsters was slapstick, none of these shows taught us anything. They were all for entertainment and that's what they are now.
@Magicforever1000 - That's exactly my point. Old shows had subtext. Secret, undercover humor that ADULTS would find funny but KIDS would never know about. As a kid, you NEVER knew there was a correlation between Chokey Chicken and jacking off. It was nothing more than a restaurant in a funny cartoon. Cartoons today are simply brainless. As in, there's no THOUGHT involved in making them.
BlackFox0911 That's not true at all, the problem is that you have no nostalgia making these cartoons seem better to you, so you've simply become another adult who thinks that everything that's marketed towards kids these days are mindless filth when it really isn't. No more than it was for us anyways.
It's a shame that this never saw the light of day. I think if this episode had aired as the series finale, it would have been the( or one of the) BIGGEST AND BEST 4th wall break in cartoon history!
I remember I was told about the existence of this cancelled series finale by TheMysteriousmrenter's review of this show. I do find it a shame that this episode never officially aired, I would of loved to have seen this episode on TV if I ever got the chance as I do appreciate the witty banter between Norbert and Dag here and like Norbert said, even though this show is officially over, it will still live on with all the episodes and adventures these two beaver brothers got to go on, especially from the perspective that nickelodeon did release this show in its entirety for DVD. Farewell Norbert and Dag and thanks for all the wacky, bizarre and enjoyable adventures you gave me throughout your show.
pfffft Dag: "Normy? What happens when you're over?" Norbert: "Oh it 's not so bad." Dag: "No?" Norbert: "If a cartoon's good, (heh/?), even if it isn't, It's Rerunincarnated" Dag: "Does that hurt?" Norbert: "Noooo, Only when you get the later checks." That made me laugh my ass off X"D The 4th wall is now a pile of rubble after that!
