And when the pastors who do this get called out, they give the word and their psycophants descend like angry hornets to attack whoever criticizes them, because "NOTHING our pastor says could EVER be false teaching and youre a pharisee for even suggesting it!" Forget Scripture. Forget God. Their pride has been wounded, so they have to strike back and discredit the critic. Sad honestly. Really sad.

I’m not on either of you guys side but I liked a lot of this video. I’m on the side of the word, as believers have to be. When I listen to you, I listen for that and find it more times than not. If scripture proves us wrong, as it will, we submit to it. It’s the authority. We don’t discuss or justify understanding of scripture through opinions, status or “titles”. But these be Christians! Smh When God got a hold of my heart, I was naive enough to believe that His Bible’s description of believers, described them all. Imagine my surprise… imagine this video showing how many of them act once upset, not “bowed to” w special treatment (anymore than the proper respect due to every man and woman) or them not getting their way. The number of preachers/teachers, of all the denominations that I’ve visited with, that underestimate the intelligence of their audiences is wild. It’s not any one certain denomination. And I assume they act and say the things that they do because they believe that we see them as exempt or as some “greater man”. Especially, those who judge so disrespectfully based on others appearance and in their hearts, believe they’re better than others. Idk why some people who preach, assume the place of God, as they do so AND without even being biblically accurate. They say they’re prophets and apostles and use God as their personal defender against anyone who isn’t convinced of their ministry. Whether it’s good or bad (without a care for a standard to describe the difference between the two). And every time they’re challenged they never bring up facts to the points… they attack you as a person, call you names and/or try to belittle you. I’ve seen it and was shocked at the repetitiveness in these different people. It’s embarrassing to see us doing these things, especially on such visible platforms. One time I was at a dinner w a baptist pastor and a group and I asked him why he was rude to the waitress. I asked him if he was showing us what not to do and that got things cooking. Thank you for letting down ya guard. You did the right thing to take the higher road. Pride is clever. I feel I was prideful in what I said to that man that day but I’m not sure. I just know I’d like to obtain mercy by showing myself merciful and so I overthink anytime I have to be “confrontational”. Not angry, not sinning but standing on things that need to be said and in the best way I can genuinely find bc I’m still a man. It’s not always easy. I appreciate how this video allowed us to see a man show us who he is and what’s in his heart. Have a heart to forgive him for acting and speaking like the opposite of a child of God to a brother and even pray for this brother. A lot of learning could be happening because of this video. We reap what we sow and I’m cautious about what I allow another man to influence me to sow in my own life. Good to see the fear of God influencing our behavior in our horizontal relationships. I used to tell my friend “they think I’m soft bc I don’t fight their fight but on the inside of me, God is glad that I fought demonic thoughts w the super power of self-control that it takes when a man is disrespected”. The disrespect was that disgraceful and at a time in life, an easy validation for committing a felony against a man. So I took my licks like a champ, overlooked the offense and called it all glory. To be honest, it felt better than violence. Sometimes it hurt but I imagine it hurts to bear the sin of humanity on a cross… so I’m not my own. I have to try with all my strength and even after fails. We don’t just give up if we fail. If life is continuing, change is too and change is the shadow of growth. See, I was defeating the real enemy, defeating myself and pleasing God all in one shot. What happened to the fear of God? What happened to pleasing God? And I’m not perfect by no stretch but there’s these two commandments to consolidate the whole that establish this walk and one half of it, like it or not, includes how we treat each other (and that’s whether they like us or not).
