He is a Billionaire with lot of headaches, sleepless nights and plenty of lawsuits. It is as good as being a poor. This billion will not last long and he will soon run out of all money. So even though technically he is a billionaire but he is in a much worse condition than the person who has just 1000rs. He can actually end up in jail alongwith tons of debts over his head which no matter how hard he tries he can not pay in this lifetime.

There can only be 2 things: 1 - You take loans to Invest and it booms and you multiply your money or 2 - You take loans to invest, and the investment is a failure, in that case you have huge debts... Its easy to criticize someone saying, "why would you take big loans, its too risky!", but that's how businesses work, leveraging Loan amounts to make worthwhile investments and boost your net worth, when it doesn't work, it brings-in a lot of trouble!

He could have been called a visionary had he applied the right strategies. The term over-ambitious simply means that he lacked the vision while making these acquisitions. Mukesh stepping into new ventures were well planned and well executed and thus turned out to be successful. There's a reason why that particular adjective was used for Anil.

I suggest he take advice from his big brother and listen to him at least now...Let him be his ghulam, nothing wrong in this world to work under your elder brother as your boss. Mukesh should control the whole business now, Anil should be follower, Nita needs to be convinced once for this decision. Anil has to throw his pride in his shit bowl at least and come out clean and join mukesh business as working partner. Mukesh should have large heart for that. Seeing his little arrogant brother suffering like this, he should do something at least with the caveat that Anil also works under him through out life in the interest of not losing more money due to anils mis management, as he has proved to world how to lose money and to start learning from his big brother how to save core business and stop being foolish and stop taking short cuts.

What you have conveniently omitted to mention is that Mukesh Ambani too is labouring under a huge debt and was desperately trying to sell a 25% stake of R Petro to Saudi Aramco which the Govt refused .He has however managed to get funding from Walmart and Facebook very recently for his retail and internet ventures which will give him breathing space .The sale of 43 crore shares @₹1200/ of RIL is proof of that . Reliance's spectacular success under Dhirubhai was more due to his political connections at the centre as well at the state level when it was said that Dhiru had most of the politicians in his corner .Reliance was India and vice versa .

Well if he is a true businessman he can convert millions to billions just like his father. He has a great advantage, name & initial capital. Money brings more money.. so he can surely stand up again, if only he wants to. Other than my salary, I can earn 2-3% extra every month from other resources. He was burning cash like anything. I remember anil ambani was in almost every business and running them irrespective of profit margins. Remember reliance world and BIG movie rentals? All his ventures were expansion focused given the access to virtually unlimited funds and not focused on self sustainability. If you leave businesses to CEOs then this will only happen.

2 mistakes in video 1. RCom was sent on bankruptcy on Feb 2019. 2. Non competitive deal ended in 2010, as per mutual consent of Ambani brothers.

Apparently Mukesh Ambani was smart enough to wait till non competitive deal to be ended as per the initial deal and not rely on mutual consent. This give Mukesh time to do home work and no chance for Anil to file any dispute case. Smart move,I say. It is evident that Mukesh tried to circle himself with smart people while Anil circle himself with glamour & politics (same like Vijay Maliya). Without doubt he is a shrewd businessman. Like him, all the telecom chaps over-estimated the potential of telecom business. The number that 100 crore population lured and trapped them. But, as far as telecom business is concerned, for a common man, it is only a Rs.20/- prepaid economy. The business would have flourished even if every subscriber spent atleast 150/- every month. I mean, the fall is not all his fault. If the petrol prices continues its downward spiral for another 2 -3 years, his brother's business will face the same difficulty. If Anil managed to drag his woes for another couple of years, he might have got a reprieve from his debt due to the likely fall of dollar's value.

@@DSEC_DGDharshan he invested and started multiple businesses(communications, navel and engineering)in a short time by taking loans which increased his company debt and later on when his companies failed because of no proper guidance and research(because he was not intrested in growing his company he only wanted his company to be bigger and wanted to overtake his brother) and he couldn't pay his debt which lead to his destruction on the other hand his brother concentrated in one business at a time( perochemical business and later on telecom) Overall anil ambani had more chances of getting richer than his brother mukesh because he had more companies in diverse market (communication, capital, infrastructure, healthcare) unlike his brother who only had petrochemical but as i said he was not intrested in growing but in getting bigger so he went too fast which destroyed him
