Just a suggestion that when you speak to someone who is not used to speaking English (fluently) that helping him or her to be more comfortable (especially on camera) is very important. Shoutout to HK I think him just being very calm and stepping in to fill in the words when Ginting blanked out helped him to speak his mind. I think this will encourage players who couldn't speak it well to join the podcast more in the future, which is gonna make the show so much more interesting!

I never seen Anthony being so happy and smiling like 40 minutes straight until I watched this podcast

Anthony Ginting usually doesn't give long answers in interviews so props to you guys for making him talk for 40 minutes straight!😂

I thought Ginting was shy and serious guy but he's so chill and friendly. Love to see there's no boundaries with new generation of badminton players right now cause back then foreign players rarely hang out, blend together or even talk freely like this, not only due to language barrier but also strict management, this remind me of tennis or football and it's so refreshing.

My observe, the friendship between badminton athletes, even though in different countries, is very different from other sports. Athletes' friendship in badminton is very sincere, more like family, even though they have different cultures and languages.

I think Hans and AA did a great job for this podcast. You guys successfully made Anthony talking a lot and smiling and even laughing for more than 40 minutes 😂😭 (other than the interviews after match) this guy usually answer a question in two words, or only with smile for a second. So, no wonder if he always said "NO" for podcast, before. And this is sooooo entertaining, for sure !! 🔥 Fyi, I have watched this podcast (maybe) in fifth times and still in love with how this conversation happened 🥺 the topics, the jokes from AA, and the times when Hans help Anthony complete his words. This is an excellent podcast! Thanks to Anders Antonsen and Hans Vittinghus for inviting Anthony Ginting. As a normal Indonesian, we don't get to know a lot about our own badminton players except from the news. This podcast shows Ginting's other sides in addition to his badminton career. Thumbs up to both hosts. Looking forward to future exciting podcasts.

Ginting English is improving,his confidence is good,hope other players in Indonesia can be like him,its just need confidence to speak english. So far,Ginting is the male version of Greysia. Humble and lot of friendship.

As a french, i have to say ,topic on rest is important : We are so excited for french open to see the best . BUt with years i know that after danish open like 30-40% of big name in badminton have to forfait french open. It must be the tournament where there is the biggest "forfait" players.

Despite losing h-h to Ginting 1-4, Antonsen always be humble even he makes joke about himself losing to Ginting, but one thing in common that maybe all players and fans of badminton always talk about even Hans and Antonses admit it in this podcast is Ginting is the fastest badminton player on planet right now

Love this podcast! So glad that Anthony agreed to do this with you guys despite him being worried about his English but I think he did really well and you both are so welcoming to him and making him feel comfortable to talk. Awesome episode! The reason of men's singles being very close rn is because there are no legendary players like LD and LCW. They were just on another level, where the others were as good as the current players.
