Basically Islam in its sources is not contrary to the idea that Jesus may be called the Son of God, but denies the notion that this title means that Jesus is a literal son of God or an adopted Son of God. Well he got it wrong, so I dunno what to tell you. Read the bible again and pray for wisdom. Satan cant "mark" our spirit in the way God does. A physical mark will be imposed on those who accept worship of the beast to mock the way God marks us with the Holy Spirit. "It is the number of a man." Just as worship of a false god and its graven image will be imposed, under the threat of death. This is intentional, Satan will always attempt to mock the ways of our Lord by attacking His commandments.

He is sending the message that it is only God who can choose a ruler , while the so called Christians are saying that the people can choose a ruler. Before Jesus left his disciples, he said that he will be sending another Comforter, and the so called Christians claim that is a Holy Spirit and because of that every Christian claims to have the Holy Spirit and because of that there is no much division within Christianity. The Christians abandoned all the teachings of Jesus and turned the religion of Jesus into one which supports the false rulers of the world that were not appointed by God but by Satan and the people. They rejected the successors of Jesus and appointed their own false Popes and leaders or even declared themselves to have a direct line of communication with God without need of a messenger from God or a ruler appointed by Him.

Great episode and thank you for clearing up what the mark of the beast truly symbolizes: One's own choices through their belief and actions. Also, Judas Iscariot being labeled as the Son of Perdition is interesting, as the Bible also says that upon his betrayal of the Messiah, Satan himself entered into Judas.

Rev was written before the destruction of the temple dates because of references to Nero that never came true. They believed Nero was the Antichrist at the time. So all those passages you read in John etc are apologetic in nature. And this is all based on a bad interpretation of Rev. The Antichrist pictured isn’t an actual person. It’s a second beast that arises. The first beast accurately describes Catholicism and Rome in the future. The second is the Protestant movement. One of the main differences between these is the Protestants believe god is speaking today through Jesus who sits in the temple declaring himself to be god. It was the Protestants who took the same image the Catholics worshipped and breathed life into the statue. The ones calling down fire from heaven and performing miracles to deceive is a direct reference to evangelicals today. You can see these baked in false interpretations in the gospels that were written also after Rev and are apologetic in nature. Another example is Paul insisting that ‘clouds’ in Daniel is literal in spite of the entire book being filled with symbolism. Yet clouds are literal? This is where al that rapture shit came from. They do this over and over. So what is the mark of the beast? 666 is a good number for Adam and it’s describing Christianity itself as the Antichrist. Jesus was human and a reincarnation of Adam and Jacob, the only suffering servant.
