Hi George and Xeno Great after party! So I'm still relatively new to the channel and I know that Xeno has a varied background, something about biology and watch repair. My question is besides keeping George straight which is I'm sure is Herculean as a task. And not to be confused with George Strait, the singer. What do you do now, because I know you don't always travel with George. And yes cotton is a thread versus a yarn. And acrylic is basically plastic and does stain less. Cotton is much less dense, so a cotton bedspread would essentially be like an antique tablecloth for a banquet size table, and just as heavy. You will not need a weighted blanket, that's for sure. I actually buy cotton blankets and towels online. The Turkish towels are amazing on the skin and big enough for my generous stature 😅. And I tend to sweat at night and cotton means more breathable and less on and off for me. Sam demanded beach towels and now covets mine 😝 and since he's cold and rolls up like a burrito in his fuzzy acrylic, we use separate blankets... it works ❤❤ Love you guys, and the videos and the following is really good people ❤

I actually created a meme when I was quilting more and belonged to groups, it said "My next table needs to be Queen Size!" For quilting on.

I’m with Xeno. That old metal lawn furniture was everywhere in my neighborhood growing up. So uncomfortable. It certainly discouraged loitering.

Cotton yarn is rarely used for Afghans. Unless it’s specific to someone with allergies or skin conditions. It’s not as soft and cuddly. I think Xeno is correct, I have never seen a cotton yarn by Red Heart. If you would like one, I’ll make you one. Give me specifics of size, pattern, color. We could probably work a trade of some kind.

Oatmeal + chocolate chip cookies are the bomb; you hardly ever see them though. Many eons ago when I worked in Old Town in Portland, there was a little hole-in-the-wall (literally) place that made excellent vegan chocolate chip cookies. I think they were vegan, anyway.
