@@SossoLF Bruh Funny hit the nail on the head and I'm sure you've seen their reply by now, but the fact that she's terminally ill makes either scenario so much more heartbreaking: they run the risk of losing the baby (or her) if she comes to term, and even if the baby was unwanted and they agreed abortion was the best option, this is putting a strain on their already contentious relationship.
This is probably my favorite song that uses a bear as a metaphor for an unwanted pregnancy as a metaphor for a terminal illness as a metaphor for a failing relationship. Maybe second-favorite.

My interpretation of this song is about abortion or getting worried of being parents, like thinking that if you have a son you'll have a lot of responsibilities, you'll start losing friends, start being an stranger to your wife.
