Is it just me or are all rust bases progressively getting more and more similar, like I feel the rust building meta is so stuck where its at we need something revolutionary soon man
the problem is that there is only so much you can do with the same buildables (squares & triangles) that have been in the game for years. also most of the quirks of rust building have been discovered already, such as bunkers or floor gaps. i just think that there isn’t much room to create new things
@@qaplu well I think there has to be more, before we had wide gaps as meta now every base is funnel walls. Theres gotta be another building trick someone will find just gotta be soon cuz these bases to repetitive, like nothing against the builders the bases are amazing but just all very similar
Theres only so much to build when theres just square and triangle foundations, especially bases for solo duo or trios, for large groups they just build massive crazy bases that are never the same
@@hatpp9467if u think funnelwalls are meta ur either stuck playing 10x with no skill or have not explored building and explored diffrent discords and channels. These types of youtubers build bad/simple bases cause they get views
would love too see you dust and coma design a base together. Just an idea for content if you want it. i love ur designs and theirs but think it would be cool what you guys could cook up :)
I personally like this design. Planning on placing 4 more turrets on the roof under their own pods, one on each of the roof peeks. Also, has anyone ever told you that you sound exactly like blooprint?
I had to put a few solar panels down as well and connect them to the batteries to maintain enough power for all the turrets and electric furnaces and lights I put down.
This base gotta be inspired by dust, the grift. Not saying it is wrong to take inspiration but dang this is kinda similar but sick base its kind of a mini version of it
@@AssaultR1fl3 They fixed something and it broke a lot of the bunkers. Someone already found a way around a lot of them though. So perhaps all bunkers wont be gone.
It went amazing and I successfully defended an online and the bunkers saved my loot during two off lines. This is gonna be my new main solo base. The funnel was really useful against grubs too after the raid
Unfortunately this base will no longer work after the next force wipe due to the new building mechanics that will stop these offset stability bunkers from working.
Not only are you wrong about bunkers not working next patch, this isn't even an offset bunker. It's a conditional roof bunker. Totally different mechanism, & both still work.
I cant place the roofs attached to the outer part of the bunker, it will always clip to the inner wall attached to the base. Any idea what I could have done wrong or is it patched already and not working anymore? Thanks for helping :)
You post so often I don’t know what to go with what would you recommend for a small group we are on console so mostly offline so something with high rocket protection like 40-60k upkeep?
Hey um I got a problem that I’m hoping you could help me with I’m kinda too close to a monument and can’t get seven squares out to build one of the bunkers is there a easier way to do that?
Yeah and it could be soft sided. You could just get rid of the window though because the peek on the gatehouse is kinda bad because no one really raids through gatehouse doors.
If you get raided, most raiders will grief your base if you don't have outer TCs. So, if you get offlined, (usually they want your loot and won't waste boom on outer TCs), you can't put a new TC down in main base while outer TCs are connected. So, instead of you having to destroy outer TCs just to place your main one back, you just disconnect the outer TCs, place your main back, and reconnect.
Video is done well, For me the base isn’t worth the mats. That’s a lot of upkeep, for a small base. 3-4 man can definitely do better. I feel like this is an easy top down base. Especially with the attack heli. Need some roof ankle biters at least.
i just built this base and its simply not worth the upkeep and is an easy raid terrible design overall to many weak spots and having the loot rooms on the outside of your base is just plain stupidity
Stop making solo/duo bases, every base you make is the same. Make a 6 man base with a egg core and bunkers. Stop making these bases with the same youtube titles and weird names lol. Like wtf is a Anubis.
There is no point in making "bunkers" that are 1 glass window and 1 softside to get into the loot. So 2 windows, 2 soft sides, 1 door and 2 walls to get into your "bunker" loot rooms and core... For 60k stone and 30k metal that is not worth it at all.. Also get original with your base names, Anubis was made over 3 years ago I correct myself. Its 4 doors and 1 wall to your TC at minimum, which is terrible
While you are correct about the bunkers being ill-designed. Getting to TC isn't the ultimate goal of raiding a base, and if you put all your good loot in the TC area, then it's GG anyways. A good base should be able spreading the loot out to maximize the amount of boom they need to get everything. If they're blowing your externals in order to gain full control then you have bigger problems. 4 armored doors and a wall to TC isn't too terrible. That's 35 rockets, which is decent for a base this size. Either way, the base needs some work. At least he's trying and putting stuff out there. He gets my upvote for that. And my hope is that he keeps working on it.
