The CSB is NOT an improvement to the Holman Bible. The only question for the study-Bible translation is- what are the differences between the Holman and CSB Apologetics Study Bibles?
Thank you for sharing your perspective on this Bible. I've always thought about purchasing this Bible. After I watching your review I'm definitely not buying that Bible. That would be a waste of my money. Why would I say that? I say that because I would rather buy books and commentaries on apologetic then to take my money and invest it in another Bible. I already have 4 or 5 copys of csb translation so I don't need another csb bible.
I'm just interested in the articles. Can you tear them up and send them to me? :v I already have a CSB and I'm thinking about the CSB study bible as well.
Hi, the articles are good. I would recommend this bible as it is very specific in the study material included. However when it comes to general study Bibles, I would go for the ESV Study bible over the CSB Study bible. I just think that the notes and articles in the back of the ESV are better and more in depth. Also if you are interested in what other faiths/cults believe, the ESV has a wonderful overview of what they believe and how they differ from Christianity.
Hi, I am not sure. I did have an older couple of these study bibles, one in the original CSB and one in the HCSB and both of those editions had these same charts. Maybe it is a printing error. Perhaps it might be worth contacting Holman to see if there have been any printing problems?
