May God have mercy on Dr. Abu Zaid, he is a noble man and a true Muslim. Even if some disagree with his views, he remains a Muslim, but unfortunately the general climate in Egypt was very strict and controlled by fanatics, so they pursued him and abused him. Praise be to God, now Egypt is very divided after the revolution on June 30 and we expelled the gangs of political Islam.

Given enough time these apostate accusing Muslims would not leave an opposing view alive with how loosely they throw around accusations of apostasy. The Quran alludes to this when it says that in it (The Quran) are clear verses and ambiguous ones. The clear verses make up the canon while the ambiguous are purposely mistranslated by some for their own gain. The entirety of the Quran makes it clear that only Allah punishes disbelief and never are we allowed to punish someone for thought crimes or speaking freely yet most Muslims use one or two vague verses to justify killing others for simply having a difference of opinion. Apostasy laws are not derived from the Quran. They made their way into Islamic law through the many priest and rabbi converts who literally translated and inserted Old Testament apostasy laws into hadith during the times of the Umayyid and Abbasid dynasties. They should have been thrown away since they clearly contradict the Quran, but the rulers cherished them like the One Ring for it allowed them to easily with a simple accusation eliminate any opposition at the hands of an angry and eager mob.

The kuffar Deist acknowledge there's a God but are misguided because they subscribe to a cosmology that conflicts with the Quran and Sunna in details and thereby principles. This is the misguidance of the Mutazila, Modernists, and their likes who are more in love with their own minds than Allah and His Messenger. Therefore, they inadvertently make the scientists and philosophers equal to the Prophets and Messengers.

Similar to another commenter, maybe you could try and reduce then eliminate all the "umms" and "urrs". They really do distract. As an academic who communicates verbally, it's definitely something you can work on. It can be overcome, my friend, with effort and focus. Just leave pauses to start off with. Embrace the pause! There's even a dua in the Quran for fluency of speech which I'm sure you know about😊

How can people be so ignorant and say stuff like „abu zayd said strange stuff“ or „no way he understood the Quran“. Crazy crazy. Go on amd believe the mythology that gabriel dictated words to mohammed. Abu zayd used reason AND the quran to justify his stance that mohammed was inspired non-verbally: 53:4: „the quran is nothing more than a „wahy““. Wahy, according to zayd, was understood in the arab room as „non-verbal inspiration“. How is this a strange statemebt?? Also look at modern islamic scholarship who are super critical of the reliability of tafsir, sira, hadith. Who is the kafir (rejecting the truth) now? And again using reason: the claim that mohammed was dictated words is an incredibly huge claim. Seems unreasonable that someone (mohammed in the quran) would not „EXPLICITLY and CLEARLY“ mention this?? Very unlikely. The reason why people think mohammed was dictated by gabriel doesn‘t come from underdtanding the quran but from traditiom. I could go on and on. But in summary, there are various reasons to believe the quran wasn‘t dictated but it was rather non-verbal inspiration (wahy, 53:4)

You sound like a rational person. How can you get your head around 65,4 Iddah for those with no course, knowing there is only an iddah after consumation. Why would God make that legal?
@ouessantpeaches6122
@ouessantpeaches6122 4 месяца назад
Maybe because you are incorrect to assume 'iddah is only for discovery of pregnancy. There may well have been psychological and social benefits to a waiting period, to protect vulnerable women from men's advances. If it were just about pregnancy, why would widow's 'iddah be longer than divorcee's? Clearly more than just pregnancy being taken into account here.
@HappyCamper84
@HappyCamper84 4 месяца назад
@@ouessantpeaches6122 the quran says there is no iddah without consumation. 33, 49. Yes, there are other facits... but the problem is this halal by the words of the quran, hadith and tafsir. Every level of the deen, there are permissions. Ibn kathir 65,4. 🤮 So it is you who are incorrect by denying it.
@ouessantpeaches6122
@ouessantpeaches6122 4 месяца назад
@@HappyCamper84 yes that is right. Does that prove iddah is just about revealing pregnancy? No I don't think it does. There are other explanations. A marriage which has been consummated is a fuller form of marriage than a marriage that has not been. So it is understandable that iddah may apply to one and not the other simply on that basis, if it has additional purposes. I repeat: 1) the widows iddah is 4 months 10 days 2) The divorcee's iddah is 3 months. And as you have said 3) the unconsummated divorcee has no iddah. We can't explain the difference between 1 and 2 on the basis of pregnancy alone. We need a fuller explanation as there's more going on here. So it's fair to say it's pregnancy plus something else (social, psychological). So given that, your using 65:4, about amenstrual women having an iddah, is not a proof that this is not logical. It's just a proof that maybe you haven't seen the full picture.

It's all to do with ignorance. I might be wrong but was it not in Egypt that some fanatics would bomb the church and some even undress an old woman in a christian crowd while there was tension between christians and muslims. Remember when khalif Umar(ra) conquered Jerusalem from the romans he wanted to pray so the governor said he could pray in the christian church but Umar (ra) refused for fear that the ummah might convert the church to a mosque. So he was emphasising the rights of the minorities under Islamic rule .Wonderful hiqma.

@@mohamad-alitrad2511 I don't think the probabilities work that way. You haven't properly represented the set of all possible outcomes and their respective probabilities of occurrence - known as probability distribution in mathematical lingo. And this set of all possible outcomes is almost impossible to determine due to all the infinitely many different attributes and a combination of them a possible God could take. Agnosticism then, is a way of saying, I don't know if a God exists or if it's at all possible to know if a God exists. Furthermore, if it does it could be any of those infinite possible ones. But your problem doesn't end just there, there is no logical contradiction in having multiple Gods, a hierarchy of Gods, a company of Gods and many more combinations that are beyond our imagination.

One of the apostates in the time of Muhammad was one of his own scribes, who realised that not all of the Qur'an has been revealed by Allah. The fact that there were, and are, apostates from Islam is a testimony to its many unfalsifiable (i.e. unverifiable) claims. Furthermore, that apostates of Islam face such persecutions is a testimony that Islam has not progressed from its 7th or 8th Century origins. Islam is not fit forthe (post-)modern world!

@@faithfulsoldier519 Indeed according to Islamic traditions, Allah b. Sa`d b.
