Nice looking down home food from Applewood Farmhouse Grill. The chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes is something I would try. From the menu, the Grilled Angus Ground Steak with the Mushroom Gravy looks like a winner. Fun review today from the Applewood Farmhouse Grill.

I work in Student Travel and escort trips to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area all the time during Spring and Summer. Our last day is usually spent at Dollywood, and we schedule dinner at Applewood after Dollywood. Sometimes the restaurant, and sometimes the grill. The food is identical. Our kids love the meal there and they have something for everyone! I love their ham! It basically covers an entire plate.

I haven't had theirs before but I find that interesting, I think of chicken pot pie as being a savory dish. It was surprising but everyone's tastes are different I suppose.
