If that's the real Big Gold, it will be absolutely priceless. Even the casted copies are iconic but the ORIGINAL? Hard to believe anyone let Hogan actually spay paint that masterpiece
@@WWE2KUNIVERSEELITE i dont believe the the belt hogan painted was the real 1986 crumrine either its also worth noting that hogan has a big gold belt in his memorabilia shop that is said to be the one he painted on national tv
Its the real belt and yes its 1000% this belt that Hogan paint nWo on it !!! The one Hogan have is one of the copie that he get at Bash and the beach 2000 he spray paint on is own belt recently i dont know why lol
I’m glad he has time for this video being lots of people are and have been waiting over 5 years for belts that have been fully paid for that’s how to run a business oh and no mention of Reggie Parks
Yeah this guy is a real piece of work. I can't believe people are expected to pay IN FULL for something they won't get for 7yrs. I can understand a deposit, but the full amount? What if he dies? I doubt he has your money just sitting in an escrow account; I'm sure it's been long spent. What about if his business goes under and he has to file bankruptcy? What happens to your money?
I was a HUGE wrestling fan as a kid, but I haven't watched in years. I'm still fascinated with championship belts though. Especially the WWF, NWA/WCW belts from the 80s and 90s. I'm going to end up buying one soon. I can feel it coming!
If you haven't yet, look up the Fandu Luxe. A little pricey compared to the regular big gold, but from what I've seen/heard, best bang for your buck :)
No the owner of the original crumrine big gold belt is Conrad Thompson the boyfriend of Megan fliehr Ric flair daughter. mobile.twitter.com/thebiggoldbelt
I always like the non gold belts like the southern belt and southern tag team belts the old Mid-Atlantic television belt the old world class American belt the Florida belt
The Big Gold with the bent seems to be really the original. But there are still rumors about who has the original belt. Some say Scott Steiner exchanged his copy with the original, but as it is shown here, this story seems to be a legend.
Scott had the original for years yes, he brought his all gold cast duplicate and used it on tv in 2001 until wcw closed. Steiner sold the real one a few years ago
So let me get this straight, Dave Millican still has people waiting for belt orders for almost 10 years now, tells his customers that he needs more time and money to finish their orders but yet has has time to do conventions and buy ring used belts?
SRT 14 that doesn’t make it any better. Point is people are still waiting on belts while he’s making new belts for promotions and spending money on ring used belts while his customers are almost 10 years waiting for a single belt
I’m an absolute mark for wrestling championship belts. Dave was trained by Reg Parks, wasn’t he? Great to see him carrying on the legacy but man being at that gimmick table is a spooge dream for a guy like me
Where can I attend one of these events I would love to see some of the classit belts from the past and if I know where and when I would DEFINITELY be there..can anyone help???
Have you seen the prices on the website. 1500 to 2500 good gawd. If I were to out the bread up I'd do it wouldnt you?? We grew up watching these legends rock these belts and man oh man I'd rock it too.
Slightly off the subject I have a question to anyone who can answer. I have a wwe replica 2013 world heavyweight championship belt( red snakeskin back)and my nameplate needs to be colour matched to the belt. Does anyone know what colour it is or if I can buy the paint off the shelf. I’m really struggling
The original big gold belt is owned by a private collector named Conrad Thompson. And believe me if he is selling the big gold belt you will never have the money to get it and the WWF will bet a lot of money on it
I want one of the NWA big gold belt that Ric Flair debut on Georgia Heavyweight Championship Wrestling.. I want it with solid gold with the rubies and diamonds in it.. That belt today would probably cost around 1 million to make with real materials.
He's more or less JMar these days, they both have absolutely no ethics whatsoever, both are well known in the belt community for being total ripoff artists. Millican is actually above JMar now for the biggest scumbag in the wrestling belt collector world. For Dave, it all went to his head. He used to be a dream to deal with, now he just takes your money and doesn't even try to make them.
The big gold? I don't think so not for now and if it's for sale I think WWE will be the first one to put money on it. The owner of the big gold belt is Conrad Thompson.
I wouldn't want the responsibility of owning the original. I just hope the one day Conrad allows the belt to be cast (the cast molds used by AFX to make the WCW casts no longer exist)/scanned so that exact copies can be produced rather than replicas and bootlegs that range from "not even close" to "close, but not quite".
@@savoirautosuffisant6551 Ric absolutely did not sell it to WWE. He used it as collateral for two different loans, and was looking at prison time for fraud. WWE bailed him out again by paying his creditors back.
As a proud owner of one of those I can honestly say "replica" describes almost perfectly how close it is to the original nowadays. I'd say it's about 95% identical at this point. Nothing will ever beat the original of course but CS's version definitely looks the part, so much so that it's almost ridiculous.
@@edwardelric880 you have a original Reggie parks and Dave Millican and HD classic Shield at home? Can you do a video to show that there is no difference. thank you
@@vincentlapointe4273 There's only one original Crumrine Big Gold, which is what Classic Shields' version is based off of. How would I be able to do a comparison video?
@@edwardelric880 brother I am waiting for the cast version of David Millican second one made cast from a private collector named Teddy made by crumrine. You never specify that you were talking about the big gold belt in your previous message. Charles crumrine the maker of the original big gold belt 1986 that cost $13.000 I know everything I need to know about the big gold belt. classic shield makes more than just the big gold and it never will be like the original looks like it but far from it it's nice but I rather have a the second version of a real crumrine. but let's see if we put the winged Eagle of David Millican and Reggie Parks beside the winged eagle of classic Shield even the HD version you will see a big difference. blessing of a good day
Ric Flair claimed that the the original big gold is owned by WWE now he sold it to them and has been trying to get it back but they won't sell it back to him so maybe after this video came out you got it and then he sold it to them I don't know but I hope this guy has it and not the corporation but if that's the case where sold on my fake belt
@@savoirautosuffisant6551 I read he was so strapped for cash that he sold it to him for less than what it’s worth. That belt is $$$$$ but it’s great the belt now belongs to the Flair family now
