Very well done. In 1969 I was 8 years old. We had an AMI Jukebox in the family room next to the TV. This was my mom's favorite song. She would play it over an over. Every time it got louder an louder. Great memories growing up. Oh by the way we still own the Jukebox
Awesome 👏🏻 The singers great but if there was just bit of background vocals like the original it would complement her even more. Excellent job though!!
@@thomascoburn what do you mean "she didn't?" Did I say "she called me Sugar or honey"? Please get a life.... I'm saying "if a beautiful lady with the voice of an Angel like her called me "Sugar Aahhh Honey Honey" my heart's gonna melt and I'm saying that in the most sincere and gentlemen way....
@@thomascoburn yup that's sad, really really sad and I know it already but heyyy everythingzzz possible right!! Anyways, thank you so much for still reminding me that...I owe you big time for making my already single miserable life a bit more miserable... Ohhh & I'm so sorry for my harsh response...you sir,you take care buddy...have a successful and happy new year ... that's straight from a man's heart....
Espetacular. Na década de 60 do milênio passado esta música agitou o planeta com super sucesso da época. Esta muito contagiante na vós desta talentosa garota. Gostei e já esta no meu arquivo favorito.
I am in love with her voice, and the rest of her isn’t too bad either ❤ Summer 1969 I had completed Army basic training at Fort Campbell, KY and then went to Fort Benjamin Harrison at Indianapolis, IN. Got to drive around in my buddies 1966 Ford LTD hardtop, windows down, this song blasting. What a memory 😂
Not the real Archie’s. The real Archie’s were made up of studio musicians with Ron Dante, lead vocals, Andy Kim & Toni Wine on backing vocals, together they provided the voices of the Archie’s using multitracking. It was the most successful “bubblegum” pop single of all time.
I have known this tune since roughly 1973 or 74 when the babysitter would bring her records with her. Always been a guilty pleasure favorite but this really rocks! I like it!
@@dtlfc3032 I don't actually feel guilty Doofus. It's a figure of speech. As a fairly hardcore Metalhead\hard rock fan a song like this isn't exactly something I play when the guys are sitting around in my workshop.
