The Ark Tarot and oracle deck review 

They really are. I love the way the animals look so alive on them, like any money they will move or come to life.

It’s such a beautiful deck. I have recently started using it to tap into animal magick and work with totems. Due to its wide selection of animals I can now work with so many wonderful creatures in my witchcraft and psychic paths.

And I agree about that imagination card. It's creepy. Not well designed at all, especially if it was aimed to be a kid's card. Typically illustration for children doesn't include so many teeth and such human eyes 😬 Looks more like a nightmare. Such a shame, because it has a really important meaning to me as an artist and writer. I'll have to leave it out or it'll just be a dreadful distraction. I'll fear it'll pop out with each shuffle 😅 A faerie would've been a much better choice, or a pixie, maybe peeking out of a small doorway in a tree trunk. Literally anything would've been better...

I could not keep it in the deck. I took it out & ripped it up. It freaked me out too much. It was a badly designed card, which is odd coz all the rest were excellent.

As far as I know they have finished making the expansions, however that might change over time coz it is meant to be a projected that they add too so you have more animals too choose from for the oracle.

I'll probably do the same or black it out with sharpie. 😂 I know how hard it is to do something like that (especially if you're on the OCD spectrum like me), something that you've paid good money for that's part of a set, but it just seems possessed and throws off the energy of the whole set. The Tyrannosaurus Rex illustration also looks a little ridiculous, especially now that they have learned their body wasn't held up/ shaped in that way, but I can deal with an awkwardly-posed dinosaur as opposed to a literal possessed monster 🤣

Yes, A Specific zoo they worked with. They provide that information in the story of the making of the deck. The zoo they support helps with animal breeding, conservation & protects endangered species.

That’s true, however this is extra funding & support provided from the sale/creation of this deck. It’s extra they would not normally have & it’s a way for people to help out more. I think it’s a positive.

Yes they are the same size and they made sure to make the box with plenty of space to fit all the current expansions.
