I Still think StarsEN having a single uniform world for lore is frankly kind of genius, It gives all their members a uniform identity while also giving them plenty of room to do their own individual lore, without really interfering with past, current, or future members. Also It probably saves a lot of work to expand on an existing word rather then trying to make something up from scratch every single new gen.
To me. Corruption Beasts have variations depending on the region. In the Badlands they have a prehistoric, bone-like motif not unlike the Americas. And its most likely in Xenokuni. Their Corruption Beasts are references of Yokai.
The fact that "Crimzon" isn't even Ruze's name but a name people such as rumor called him which he stated that he's name was just "Ruze" on one stream so the demon blood can definitely be a rumor as well... Yet going to streams and him saying he's "A totally normal human" and "Just a normal" over various streams does make you wonder.
How i'm interpreting the genes/data/blood thing is like this Dino genes: what it says on the tin, his fam are the descendants of the dinos who's bones litter the badlands. He's calling himself a prince and trying to take over the desert because he's trying to "reclaim his birthright". Karasutengu data: Hakka whole ass just fused with a karasutengu. His first original song is a duet between Hakka's normal voice and his gravely metal voice, normal voice is Hakka metal voice is the tengu. Uses digital terms because could only really happen in a digital world. Demon blood: This one is up in the air, I'm thinking it's just a rumor that spread after he started wearing the corruption beast mask, could def be that he's got a demon grandpa or something tho. Also it's unfortunate that you can't/aren't including the stream Shinri did explaining all the lore haha, the reason they have so little and that they didn't add to the worldbuilding is that they decided to let Shinri handle it, he even drew a map of everywhere we know of in Elysium, explained further about corruption beasts and the forms they come in, explain the relationship between guild tempus and the armis bounty hunting gang, really just going all out on the lore.

@@SteveSekai Also, not sure if this is official lore, Altare mentioned that when people get corrupted by the corruption beast, they will start to lose memories, and gradually turn into corruption beast. If this is true, then it will be interesting because in the Tempus lore comic, Altare has trouble remembering someone in his life.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ruze decided on all of that backstory, considering how he enjoys D&D. He COULD also be withholding back some lore stuff which is why things can get inconsistent
The only thing I can trust is that Ruze has made his own lore even if the company isn't helping, so the demon thing will probably come up. I don't think he'll leave us hanging, but I also think he'll keep us guessing for the long haul.
He keeps adamantly denying being anything but human anytime you bring up his age or his ears. It’s pretty funny. (I will say I find it curious that both him and vesper have pointed ears, purple eyes , salt and pepper hair and ambiguous ages).
From what I hear Hakka has interviews that might help give more context for armis also shinri did a watch along for armies and did give a bit of explanation for the lore of tempus also their is a visual novel about the boys in an alternate universe which while might not be cannon does give us insight on what kinda animals might be in elysium like crabs and horses which makes me think that a lot of the animals in our world is in theirs which makes sense since it was created by humans for humans to potentially live their.
While its up in the air on what exactly ruze is partof, it certainly is somethin. A fun fact bein both jurard and hakka have talked about ruze havin super hearin, ie in the interview, so somethins up.

absolutely love the lore of StarsEN, and really hope we get more of it in the future!! one thing that I found interesting in terms of design is how vesper and ruze have similar traits like pointy ears, purple eyes, fangs, hair colour ( a slight stretch ), implied long lives. I really hope this is explored more!! it’s really interesting
YES YES SOMEONE WHO ALSO GOES FERAL OVER STARSEN LORE This was an interesting video!! I highly agree that the worldbuilding for StarsEN's lore is honestly pretty darn good for a vtuber group, especially in how it feels coherent but also gives everyone enough wiggle room to introduce their own aspects to it and not have it crumble apart. ARMIS really excites me because I love the concept of a "antiheroic/villainous"-type group to counter TEMPUS (although. TEMPUS isn't exactly "heroic" either, to be completely honest XD) and so far what they bring to the table is really interesting both in lore and in their general personalities. Other people have already said it here, but I would also like to recommend checking out the interviews Hakka has done with the new guys recently, they're actually pretty lore-heavy (for instance, while it's not confirmed what Jurard is the prince OF, he did say in his interview that he ran away from home to become a bounty hunter). Octavio has also been dropping lore bits here and there at the beginning of streams and a few times in karaokes (like the last NPC one he did was. a doozy. let's just say that) and admittedly they paint a very interesting (and totally not lowkey foreboding) picture XD I think we have a lot to look forward to with them. It was nice to have all the debut facts laid out especially since I didn't catch a few, so thank you!! Godspeed on gathering more lore intel >:3c

HELL YEAH ! i absolutely love how holostars en has their lore in one primary setting and i really wish more was done to capitalize on that. piecing together what we DO have is still pretty fun, and it's always a treat to catch the vids where u do so :> and as someone already mentioned, shinri goes over some world building for south elysium/the badlands in the debut watchalong streams ! (mainly in day 2's stream on his channel)
Gonna check out the other lore videos after this but this was fun and informative and very useful hehehe. Pointing out AMIRS was the 'FF15' boys in Octavio's 'FF16' streams was hilarious when it happened.
This is more headcannon than anything but with xenokuni being the lands of crafts do you think that’s where they make guns (Also something new with Hakkas outfit apparently him and the “other guy” are fused or something now which could be why it’s different from jurad and ruze) also found out jurad does in fact have a tail

Tbh I honestly believe that Armis are players within elyisum while tempus are npc who gain sentience and that the corruption beast are from specifically players and armis backstories were all done by themselves to make thwm look cool
It pains me to no end on how Holostars EN has the best setting in all of Vtubing. This could've been HoloEN and they are going into a cool direction with Myth is the Chaotic antithesis to Council/Promise's Order. But all that disappeared when Advent came in and they just happen to be Imprisoned by "God's", and no not Council types of God's. Apparently according to Nerissa the one who broke her Horn is a God of higher power. Urgh....this is so frustrating🥺. If I am to write the Lord this is how I would've wrote it. Advent are the most dangerous beings that Calli has ever Reaped in the past. They are so Dangerous that Calli placed then on a special Cell and she needs to constantly Guard them. But due to Calli fascinated with our world she Abandoned her duties allowing the Advent inmates to escape. SEE!!! was that so hard? Urgh I hate that Holostars setting is better.
Why do you hate that holostars have it better? Tho I do see what you mean with holo never having any connections for the girls since it seems like they do have a lot of background lore but are a lot less strict than the boys lore but I guess that is the price when you make all the girls monsters in an entire universe vs the boys who are all in a digital world with one focus
I mean, the Council lore video, where IRyS explains how the concepts were made/in what order, she mentions "The Gods". There's threads of a wider story there, just nothing set in stone yet. Considering Shinri's "lorekeeper" role in StarsEN, and how nothing like that _really_ exists for LiveEN (though Shiori might take up that mantle, we'll see) it makes sense that Stars' lore is a lot more concrete.
I'm sure you didn't mean it that way but saying you hate that Holostars lore is better makes it seem like you dislike holostars in general and are mad they got better lore
Calli locking up Advent makes no sense. She is death/a grim reaper not some prison warden/upholder of order. Anyway, while it would have been cool to have a shared universe/common lore for Hololive like Holostars EN does it is much more difficult to establish such a thing retroactively while StarsEN seems to have always been planned in this direction. It is not undoable however, that seemed to be what the Hololive Alternative videos were going for and what HoloEarth also somewhat seems to be. Cover did release some cute manga with the JP members as well. One was a Japanese style thing with Fubuki, Mio and Ayame (also Miko, while promoting the concert they had in HoloEarth). And there was also a manga about underworld school with Shion, Mel, Towa, Lamy (I think they said she was an exchange student) and Choco. So it is not like they are ignoring the possibility for Hololive to have something similar either.
U need someone that love lore enough like shinri or the one that always made a lore like flay or talents that sticking to the lore everytimes or manager that dedicating themself with talents lore (i mean they even made game for starsEn) so i dont know if holoEn can do as much as stars en do to lore if no one care enough about it
