My lessons: 1- don't be afraid to ask - ask for feelings, not "doing" - ITS better to ask about what people feel instead of what people have do. 2 - be curious about the world - be curious about the experience of people, about what they have felt 3- don't be afraid of make the obvious questions - 4- words matter - 5- emphaty 6- sometimes the best question is the simple question, like why

I like this presentation- straight to the point, clear and accessible (not the typical Ted-pretense) , however, I like to argue that "be informed" kills the inquisitive nature and curiosity. I understand that it related to interviews and avoiding the "obvious", but in general an open mind, a degree of ignorance keeps questioning alive (and our minds too!)

It is said that the obvious question is usually the least asked due to its simplicity, nevertheless it's the simplicity that involves a question what makes it have a great meaning in itself . Whether it comes to an interview or a chit-chat, the use of rhetoric is always present, so much so that is considered the foundation for conveyinf a message objectively without actually having to communicate it directly. In this regard, in order to awaken interest in others one must first show that interest, for people connect better when one of the parties is understood through the other, and thus will be grateful and want to return the interest.

I think sometimes it's difficult to find the right questions, I'm working on a platform that will help people find and ask better questions.

I question everything and don't expresss those thoughts or emotions

Asking good quality questions all depends on individual language skills and its not easy to master other language among aged group.

I don't like when people are interviewing me and they ask me the "why" question. My gut response is, "Why would I need a reason?" It feels like they are asking me to condone my actions, or reasoning. On the other hand if they are asking me about why certain people might react a certain way, I don't mind that at all! Ha.

This speech is full of many interesting statements. However I found it a little bit distracting when Dan was paying too much attention to problems with presentation and e.g. the fact that he touched his microphone by accident. Of course it all was not his fault but in my opinion he should just not make a comment on that and maybe make a small pause and then carry on with his topic.
