I knew george back when...here’s a quote , “ I have to assemble myself every morning” 1987. Weird however the disassembling of fascism by referring to the futurists who were arch fascists. Love you George

I've been trying to find an art collector or curator who could possibly assist me.... My husband's mother (Idell "Aya" Rose Tarlow) passed away in 2016 and she was extremely close friends with renowned Beat artist George Herms (and Aya-- in her own right-- was there at the birth of the Movement helping to document and shape it). The collection of artwork and personal notes/poems/letters by Beat icon Herms that we have now is just incredible, dating from 1963 - 2015. We would love to find the ultimate, greatest collector of his work because any of these pieces would just rock their world. We so want them to go to someone who will treasure them. If you do know anybody like that or if you know someone who knows someone like that, any help you could give me would be truly appreciated. Thank you! (Not trying to annoy anyone here...we just want to find someone who will appreciate them for what they are and it's hard to find that unless you at least look somewhere that knows and admires Beat artists...)
