There once was a period when young girls were instructed by their mothers, grandmothers, and certain female teachers to modulate the tone, pitch, and volume of their voice while speaking. This skill has become a lost art.

That is fundamental for me. I cannot understand how some journalists in TV talk (screech more like). Any communicator should receive voice lessons and oratory. Fundamental. For general public too. I am always aware of my tone of voice and volume. At home and specially outside. I don't follow youtubers that talk too loudly. I simply can't. Same with TV.

In bad neighborhoods they go out expecting a fight to breakout or gun shots , because its happens all the time over there, that's how you know it's time to go home ,a fight breaks out or you hear gunshots. It's sad but true in the ghetto it's just life ,so having class acting demure is a no no in places like that ,you'll get taken advantage of ,that's why most women from those places come off as having an attitude, you have to to survive a day to day life . The only way they can change it to move out and stay out of there.

Somewhat true. I was raised in a challenging neighborhood in the Cleveland/Detroit area of the US. I made a conscious decision to avoid clubs and bars in my area, knowing they were dangerous and not places for a moral young woman. Despite the prevalent cursing and slang around me, I taught myself to refrain and exercise self-control. You can reside in the toughest part of town, but it's important to remember self-control and practice it daily.
