Imo I think Defenders don't get the respect they deserved because scoring goals is seen as something more valuable to winning compared to defending, this is what someone said in Quorra for more context: *"Because a game of football is ultimately decided on the number of goals scored, not the number of saves made, or successful tackles done."*
@@NateDoesYTstopping a goal at one end is as valuable as scoring one at the other. Obviously you have to score to win, but you also have to stop your opponent from scoring as many as you.
you say that Ramos flew but the shot was slow the goalkeeper could have thought so at least Florenzi almost risked his life and the shot was faster and the match was more important
The music sort of suggests that there are increasing levels to what is presented here, like perhaps levels of difficulty, but Walker's clearance was as good as they come
itakura was insane..at first attempt he lose the momentum but 1 second later he got his momentum back..right man at the right position..something we can't see often in football match😮
@@АлбанусПрезилгаFlorenzi wouldn't have known that. Shots can curl and in the heat of the moment defenders don't know the exact position of the goalposts.
And then there's people defending that Suarez's punch to the ball was a valid and honest way to prevent the goal... Sportsmanship and actual effort should be praised more often these days...
Much more beautiful than a goal. Not only did the other team get a strong shot at the goal, a player actually stopped it just in time. Doesn't get better than that.
