For me hes the best cb ive seen in terms of the pure art of defending, and not just as an individual player, he also has brilliant organisational qualities to organise his defensive line, he read the game perfectly, discipline was great, composure tackling timing, positioning. His leadership qualities was second to none, he wasnt good on the ball compared to cb nowadays and he wasnt quick for pace, but he made up for it with what I mentioned up top. In the air he was perfect too. What a player, he is the type of defender you actually need to build your team around because he was that good he has the personality also to motivate his team and he was a born captain. His team needs to be defensive minded and play deep compact block to not expose his weaknesses, because we all have weaknesses. But if you hide his weaknesses and expose all his strengths then you will make a winning team and it all starts with him at cb. Real mans solid defender, I missed maldini so maybe if you says maldini is better Im not in a position to disagree, but trust me Terry was just special player
yeah, I like that as well even if I would have loved to include more older clips but it is almost impossible finding these old clips in alright quality as well
Just like me, millions of Chelsea fans are waiting for the day a defender can rightfully step into his shoes and give us the same quality and leadership that he gave us for umpteen number of years.
A defender in every sense of the word.🛡️ Willing to put his body on the line. True gladiator! Once in a decade kinda player. The closest Chelsea I've got to Terry is Thiago! And age is no longer on his side.
Terry's greatest attributes were his ability on the ball and his positioning. How many times did he ever give the ball away in posession? He may not be a likable person but he was an incredible footballer
One of the finest defenders in English football history. Even at 34 he won his fourth PL title, playing every minute of every game. Best central defender in Premier League history 🐐 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
@user-gk9yt6gs8t Facts but at least he didn’t do mistakes he was good defender not like how these guy describing him If he was top 20 of all times or some nonsense
@@user-gk9yt6gs8t overrated?😂😂😂 he’s the only captain in Premier League history to lift five PL trophies. He was part of the greatest defence in a single season (15 goals only). He was a warrior, he didn’t have pace but he didn’t need it. He was intelligent, he was unstoppable. The only defender in PL history to sit at the table with him is Vidic
Always said he'd be the most difficult to replace. We've lost Drogba's presence up front and Frank's goals from midfield, temporarily replaced with Costa's aggression and Fabregas' creativity, but all leadership has gone without JT. Wish we'd got Silva in JT's last season. :(
El mejor defensor de la premier Los q conocen saben me la gasto toda botellas caras tengo 200 lucas en la billetera voy a hacer una fiesta vienen los chicos de la t y la m
JT was the reason why I play CB. The best, one who commands everyone to do their job, be an example and did not get bullied. The current CFC would be getting their asses kicked by Terry with these shambolic performances. Truly the best CB and captain, leader, legend ever.
