Cameron Hanes is a renowned American bowhunter, endurance athlete, and outdoor enthusiast. Known for his passion for bowhunting and dedication to physical fitness, he has become an inspirational figure for many in the outdoor and hunting communities.
Discipline is a key aspect of Cameron Hanes' life, as evident in his rigorous training routines, hunting expeditions, and commitment to personal growth. Here are some elements that often characterize a disciplined life, which might align with Cameron Hanes' approach:
1. *Physical Fitness:*
- Cameron Hanes is renowned for his intense physical training routines. Discipline in maintaining a high level of fitness is crucial for both hunting and endurance activities.
- Regular exercise, proper nutrition, and consistent training contribute to overall health and well-being, enhancing one's ability to tackle challenges effectively.
2. *Mental Toughness:*
- A disciplined life often involves cultivating mental resilience. This is particularly important for someone like Hanes, who engages in physically demanding activities and encounters challenging situations during hunting expeditions.
- Mental toughness helps individuals push through obstacles, stay focused on goals, and maintain a positive mindset in the face of adversity.
3. *Goal Setting:*
- Discipline is closely linked to setting and achieving goals. Cameron Hanes sets ambitious goals for himself, whether it's in terms of fitness achievements, hunting challenges, or personal growth.
- Having clear objectives helps individuals stay focused and motivated, providing a sense of purpose to their disciplined efforts.
4. *Time Management:*
- A disciplined life requires effective time management. Hanes likely allocates time efficiently to balance his professional commitments, training, and personal life.
- Prioritizing tasks, maintaining a schedule, and avoiding procrastination are essential components of a disciplined approach.
5. *Passion and Dedication:*
- True discipline often arises from a deep passion for one's pursuits. Cameron Hanes' love for bowhunting and the outdoors fuels his disciplined lifestyle.
- Dedication to his craft and a genuine enthusiasm for what he does contribute to the consistency and perseverance that define a disciplined individual.
It's important to note that discipline can take various forms depending on an individual's goals and values. What works for Cameron Hanes might not be suitable for everyone, but the principles of dedication, consistency, and goal-oriented living can be universally applied in the pursuit of a disciplined and fulfilling life.

This is a great video, but my only question/comment is, all these videos where people get up at 4AM or 3AM or in this case 2AM they never discuss what time they go to bed. They kind of just imply like they put in that much extra day than the rest of us. If you get up consistently at 2AM that means you are going to bed at 7PM. So you basically get home from work, eat and go to bed. I'm not being negative, but I require my sleep. I wish these types of videos would discuss that aspect more.....or at all.

True. Some make it seem like they sleep around 12am only to wake up at 3am. Which is unsustainable long term.
@elintilia2790
@elintilia2790 3 месяца назад
This is the real missing link. Sleep deprivation is how many of these "I wake up at 3am!" people do it. They want more hours in the day to be productive and sure, once you get used to it, it's doable, but the long term impact is not worth it imo. Chronic sleep deprivation is linked to an increased risk of developing dementia later in life. Not to mention a weakened immune system, higher risk of heart disease, etc. That shit is not worth it to me. I had a time when I woke up at 5am every day but I also made sure I was asleep by 10pm. For me that meant going to bed at 9:30pm. That cuts into your evening quite a bit. But at least I was getting my sleep.

@@michaelboswell6175 Ya but that's a one off for this video. There is no way a human can sustain staying up until 8 or 9 and waking at 2AM every day. 100% I get it, one off days hell ya. But lets get down to the brass tacks and talk about what an average week or month would look like for sleep patterns. It's not going to bed at 9PM and getting up at 2AM

It still shocks me people think this stuff is crazy. I’m up at 3:20am for work, work 10-11 hours a day, get off, pick kids up help them with school work start cooking, wife gets home I lift then run a minimum of 4 miles, do kids bedtime, spend time with the wife, go to sleep at 11pm rinse and repeat. Avg of 3900 calories burned a day it’s not hard once you get in the mindset.

I’m in a similar boat. 12hr job working 60-70 hours a week. Rotating days and nights every 2 weeks. Leave work pick up the kids for football practice on my day shift. I usually make dinner, wifey time and sleep at 10pm. Up at 230am for my run or lift before work. I’ve come to realize guys like us can only accomplish this with sacrificing the thing I LOVE…..Sleep! Who needs that anyways! Hahahaha! No one cares though, work harder! 😎
@thorshammer5134

@@valentinabrego7149 yup, average about 4 hours a night. I’ve always been an early riser even as a kid, usually around 5am. I don’t know if I’ve ever slept more than 7 hours at a single time. People are like, “that’s unhealthy” then I say to them. Look at me and then look at you. Which of us is more unhealthy. People are just to soft these days, don’t realize what life is like for most of the world. Removed from the hard labor, food, gathering cycles of life. Removed from harsh climates, discomfort, removed from aggression and violence. Pushing oneself to the edge is one of the most fulfilling things in life, most will never reach outside their comfort zones and submit and embrace the discomfort. Especially on a regular basis.

F@uk you to anyone who has a negative thing to say about this man, oh it’s not healthy, or he can’t see his family. Just words of weak lazy people who see someone doing amazing things and drag it down so they feel better. He has a great relationship with his son, you see that all the time, anyone who thinks it’s not healthy, take a good look. He achieves amazing things and all you can do is see your own weakness and down talk him. What happened to been aspired to do better? Amazing guy doing amazing things

I'll tell you what you sacrifice for keeping this kind of schedule. Either he ain't seeing his wife and kids all that much, or the job is really easy. When you have all these hobbies: running ultra marathons, lifting, shooting bows, hunting game, somethings got to give. You can respect the discipline, but its also a ego thing to prioritize so much time to yourself.

The proof is in the results brother. He's run probably 100 ultra's, he's a 2:55 marathoner at 56 years old, he takes big animals home every single season. I would STRONGLY recommend finding the inspiration from him and stop the hate. You get to a point where you realize that the only thing stopping you is you. You are exactly where you deserve to be. You ARE the sum of the work you put in. Training to be a marathoner has made me realize this. Good luck.
