This is the ULTIMATE Kicking Scientific Proper Body Kinematics. Also Kuk Ki Won Videos are exceptional as well. Tae Kwon Do in the modern World has perfected the KICKS from al styles of Martial Arts: SAVATE, KARATE, MUAY THAI, Northern Chinese Kung Fu.
Too many of you guys comment on who could kick whose ass. Large part of martial arts that is ignored is a person's self development should be the main focus.
The Total Package: “Spiritual” is one of those words that people throw around without any idea what theyre even saying. Since you brought it up, what does “spiritual” actually mean? Also, you didnt address my questions. I asked 1) what does self development even mean and 2) why should self development be the main focus of martial arts? Notice that no one ever says self development or spirituality should be the main focus of basketball or marksmanship.
@@MP-db9sw , this world is not the real world. It is an illusion. You have many spiritual bodies. You are spiritually blind and spiritually deaf that's why you can't see or hear the spiritual worlds or consciously travel to these spiritual worlds or other dimensions. Right now you are a slave to this pathetic system which has been put in place to control and impede the spiritual development of the masses. Society needs machines and people live and die as machines. You have been put in a hypnotic trance from the moment you were born. Your consciousness is asleep and even after death your consciousness will remain asleep unless you awaken it. The modern man looks more soul-less than in any other age, the soul is very poor it is almost neglected, ignored, the masses don't care about their soul. That's why the masses are slaves. Man has unlimited spiritual power but they are to brainwashed and dumbed down by religion, politics, the media, government ect to realize that. Asleep in your muladhara chakra is the unlimited, divine, cosmic power "kundulini".
The Total Package: so when you say “spiritual” you mean having magic powers? You believe in astral travel and chakras and kundulini but my guess is you cant actually *do* anything with any of these ideas. Or maybe im wrong: can you astral travel to my location and tell me what color my shirt is? You're just like every other religious person who believes absurd things on pure faith. You've read some deepak chopra or whoever is the latest new age ”guru” and now you think that we all live in the matrix (or perhaps you call it maya) and if you work real hard you can break free and become a wizard, like Neo. Lol. I went through that when i was 16, too. Good luck!
The first time I ever saw Hwang Jang Lee was in a movie theatre in 1978 starring Jackie Chan called "Snake in the Eagle's Shadow" Seh Ying Dew Sau! Like crack cocaine, it got me hooked!
The Koreans and the Okinawans have different orientation in the application of kicks in actual self defense. The Okinawans even in their practice have low and middle kicks except when they kick the face. but their frontal kicks is really for the bladder area. The koreans like to do standing split.- high kicks.
Every body is excellent in their youthful days. Almost perfect. And this masters is no exception. Not even Bruce Lee. What makes him exceptional is that he connected the art with muscle training and weight training. If you closely watch him, during the action he is actually doing gim or weight lifting. By the way what is the use of so much doing during youthful days, if you can not even walk properly in the old age. I mean the spirit should be carried until you become real man. Old men continuing this art with the same spirit are great.
Joe Rogan is a big Taekwondo guy. He said when he fought other styles, he noticed Taekwondo style is to keep the hands low and wide and use them as counterbalance, not really use them/the hands defensively. I am seeing that in this video. The kicks are powerful, precise and elusive, but the counterbalancing of the arms leaves the kicker wide open for clean shots. Is there a way to execute the kicks with your guards up or would that weaken the kicks?
Most TKD guys have good footwork and will be out of punching range with these kicks. You can definitely throw these with your hands up. I went from TKD to kickboxing and had to do so
He’s very good, but there were many guys of this level in the 60’s and 70’s. It’s old school Tae Kwon Do. Big motions designed to do big damage. I learned it first from Dongpil Kim in Boston during the mid seventies and then with Suk Chong Chung in the eighties and beyond. Korea sent many of its champions abroad in the seventies to spread the art. Guys like Suk Chung and Hee Ill Cho. Btw, they were much more balanced and complete fighters than what is mostly prevalent now. Chung was a judo champ as well as two time national champ, back when there was only one national championship in Korea. Cho had integrated boxing into the curriculum. The modern , sport oriented version is nothing like this.
we should know in this hong kong action movie scene there were so many korea born action stars affected action style.. like hwang jang lee hwang in sik.. they are kick special list .. befoer them hong kong action based on fist fight like ying chun.. and kick style is not beautiful and leg use is imperfect especially pelvis use is bad and spin kick is imperfect or didnt use .. but after these tawkwondo or hapkido masters arrived there there was revolution .. very big movement and goegeous kick style is prevasive so hong kong style completed liken these days.. yeun biao syle .. and even bruce lee learn kick from taekwondo master lee joon gu so his kick completed when he make jeek kun do... so there was so many interaction from karate fung fu to taekwondo this is beautiful cultural phenomenon and we human should continue to interact more
I agree with you, I started in Silat for long time, and 2nd dan in TKD, than learn Grapling Jujitsu, and 2nd dan in Hapkido, in Hapkido also use lot of grapling jujitsu when we sparring, , but I never use grapling in street defense yet, I been got attacked in street by 4 guy in New year eve, I use blocked, parrying their punch with Silat hand technique, and just use fast front kick to groin and use fast round house kick to the head, and fast power ful back kick, three man knock out , one of them run and hide, hopefully all martial art brother discipline neve stop in training, keep practicing martial art, its help safe life, also stay fit
@@TheKetota I agree, most of the time it goes this way, sometimes though, you get jumped and grabbed... My dad told me it was better to have many yellow belts than one black belt. I have found this to be true.
The Korean taekwondo Master here train many of United States allies South Korea soldiers to battle the North Koreans in real life. Unfortunately a man challenged him with a knife and this Korean master in this video killed him with one kick. True story.
@Im wearing tights that I borrowed from your mum. People always say there is no proof Hwang Jung Lee killed that soldier, I asked him and he said it was true. Its interesting you say it leaked out from other people, I was talking to jon james Hodgson and he said people close to Hwang Jung Lee didn't know about what happened in Vietnam.
Wong Cheng li is the most scientific greatest kicker of all time! He even used his taek wan do in real situations killing a couple people in self defense.
