I LOVE the Artisan Spotlight Series. It might just be my favorite series in the Get Piped RU-vid repertoire. As always, this episode is LONG, but man its GOOOOD. Now, due to the horrible internet connection at the Las Vegas International Pipe Show's hotel (palace station😡), this episode is going live some 3 to 4 days late.
That said, Angelo and I had a WONDERFUL time at the Las Vegas Pipe Show. It was such an honor to take him out and show him a piece of America. I am also super happy to see his pipes selling on the show floor.

I wanted to visit his shop in September when I was in Italy, unfortunately his shop was closed.. the worst thing is, that I was there one day before their holiday started and it was closed anyway.. well this how things go in Italy...

Great video, Adam - unfortunately it's a lot easier for me to watch your videos than listening to your awesome podcast because of the subtitles. Always happy when you post a new video! :) It's heartwarming how you talk about artisan pipe makers and it motivates me a lot to become the best artisan pipe maker I can. Side note: I want to thank you that I can watch my wife laughing (which is far too rare in her life!) while watching your videos ... it seems that she likes your humor. Angelo is a great artisan - thanks for showing his work. Maybe I can visit his cool shop someday - he lives about 200 miles away.

🇮🇹 so I got 27 pipes yesterday and one of them got the weird shape on the stem like you shown us. I got them for $80 some pipes made back in the 1930-40 and others are from different countries. Crazy to think of. Having a gem to sell. Only time will tell.

Even digging out a chamber with a piece of bone isn't hand made. A tool was used. Either they are all hand made or all machine made. 😉😊😊
