Regarding the woman that feels like she lost her true love and is having a hard time moving on, if they broke up over something that was considered a silly miscommunication, who is to say that something like this wouldn't have enviably happened especially if it WAS over something big. Tell yourself that you are better off, especially if his ego got in the way, and his family maybe wasn't supportive towards the success of your relationship? It's very helpful in a relationship if both partners are able to humble themselves and apologize when it's appropriate. Easier said then done though! (idk tho!) ;) Best of luck.
