I went to Art School for Illustration and Design, my Father is an Architect and taught me how to Letter when I was young. Do you believe they are trying to take away Handwriting, Printing etc in Schools because of Technology now. I have 3 sons who I teach how to Letter, but most of these kids today cannot print their name. This is a Dying trade that should be taught again bc it takes mad skill to do this and a steady hand. This guy is Awesome. OLD SCHOOL....
a true craftsman at work.. and what a stunning result!.. and as a designer myself, i can totally appreciate letter style creation with such speed and easy !!.. amazing job :)
This is a magnificent vlog of a great artist-painter. I loved every minute of it, I subscribed, I gave a high five(like). I’m 77 y/o and wished I had small amount of this man’s talent. I know a lot of these techniques are learned and practice, practice, practice!!! Thank you for posting and sharing this beautiful vlog with us. My last words are, “BRAVO. BRAVO. BRAVO!!!”
I have been painting signs since I was 13 my father was a signpainter, I picked up pinstriping at 15 and have been doing it every since. Some of us are lucky to have this talent and glad to see what other stripers do. Their layouts give me ideas that Ican create along with mine thus this creates neat striping. sharing ideas helps us all learn. plus I am 68 years old.
We can only hope that this gentleman's fine work has been preserved now that the old Malta busses have gone. Lets hope the bus is not rotting in the dockyards.
@johnnybobber You need to get an actual pinstriping brush that is specifically made for this kind of work. You can see many examples here: www.eastwood.com/paints/pinstriping/brushes-striping-tools.html
