I did the same thing once!!! While I sailed all the way to the Devilsroad corner, I fired all cannonballs aways, ate all the supplies and they had only about +100 planks left. And when my Crew fought the Tuccers, I lit the ship on fire too and welcomed them on their hellfire ship. 😚 The profanities they threw at me man. ^_^
Fighting over forts has made for some of the most infuriating and intense yet exciting and fun battles in the game. Everyone always seems to turn on some extra creativity when athena loot is on the line.
My early keg play suggestion made it into the video! I feel like a celebrity! Great work as always Phuzzy! Always take the wind out of their sails, remove all motivation to fight from the enemy!
Phuzzy! I used the fort cannon trick with a chaser, dropped their sails boarded them and used the "super secret sword lunge!!!!" Twice! Killed them both and used their supply crate to take all their cannonballs and wood! You are to thank! Before watching your videos I was just trying to throw firebombs at them and getting shot in the water lol! I'm making a video of it! Thank you!
when he started the video with "its more fun to do emotional damage" i knew id fear him if i ever met him on the sea's, thats terrifying and leaving the ship in the SE corner would definitely make me uninstall🤣🤣
POV: Phuzzy Bond comes across a Phuzzy Bond viewer. They are literally xbox cannon users, everyone who plays the game is aware that if there is one sign of a new player its that. Congrats on outsmarting players barely able to play the game.
Never judge a player because a skelly🤷🏽 u don't know what that other player doing besides just playing for example i have 3 kids SO getting distracted is easy to get killed by skellys is pretty comon for me... And i don't take skelly seriously and mostly don't have food while FIGHTING them too try last the longer without Runing or eating
“It’s more fun to make them feel defeated at a core level.” 😂😂 “BUT IM NOT AN EVIL PERSON!” Aaaand I’m already hooked on the video. As always, excellent, excellent, top-level, standard-setting, work. ❤
Thank you for another great lesson Professor Phuzzy. I received my "Cat Jam" mug today. It's great and always good to support my favorite teacher on the seas.
"It's more fun to do emotional damage" Me and my crew did that to some wannabe arena sweats who came after us 4 times and got straight up executed each time, dealt with in under 2 minutes
Lmao, Ive learned this lesson, Dont ever let your gaurd down when doing Forts, or other World Events, and dont let an Alliance fool you, always be weary of them.
@@JJSquirtle I just watched it in half-speed, you're right his head is not poking out the cannon. Either lag or cheating it looks like, probably lag tbh.
thanks for the videos, phuzzy. made me more confident solo slooping. managed to sink a guy after being attacked by him first and he came back for revenge. managed to divert his attention to two other sloops at a random outpost and escape. good fun
honestly I'm only now realizing that Sea of Thieves is kinda just... unplayable to me? like I suck at PvP really really badly, so that effectively forces me to run at the first sign of conflict. But not only is improving at pvp a very long and... _emotionally turbulent_ process, but the idea of being really good at PvP is also unappealing to me because I have a few moral qualms with the whole "make them feel defeated at a core level" thing, having gone through that too many times myself.
That second brig is why I never choose to keep my supplies in crates unless I'm selling, it's so easy to just yeet all your supplies in one swift motion; especially if you have a storage crate and you throw all their supplies in it before yeeting it overboard
I had the most unexpected interaction last night trynna solo a skull fort. Half way through it a reaper slow slooper showed up and wanted to form an alliance all while helping me w the fort. As soon as the treasure was opened up, he sailed off w no loot that I could tell. Just a friendly reaper helping for whatever reason. I did almost betray him out of mistrust. UNFORTUNATELY, Once I sailed off I got hit w a skelly sloop inside the storm. They sunk me. Smdh.
I'm watching this and wondering: when fighting the sloop, they took down both your masts. You had no one on cannon, no one keeping angle, and they were death spiraling you. Why did you focus on raising the mast and having one person off the ship, when they were in a winning position, instead of keeping angle and bombarding them with cannons?
first of all thats very roman of you, "The victor is not victorious if the vanquished does not consider himself so". but second, what you describes in chess is called a patt, basicaly a draw. so not realy accurate. love the vid though
I was doing a FoF and a grade 5 athena sloop came up on me and sunk me, so I came back with a cannon rowboat, parked my ship at a nearby island, rowed over with the rowboat, tried to grab a keg and blow up their ship but they saw me and sniped the keg as i was picking it up, so i came back with a lantern rowboat on the island i was parked at, rowed over and as they cleared the fort i snuck in and stole the chest of fortune, buried it and hid while making my way closer to their ship, tucked on the crows nest until they came on the ship, saw an ashen winds skull and tried to grab it to burn them and their ship, though i missed slightly and had to jump overboard where they killed me, so i sailed my ship to an island slightly closer so i could sword lunge to my second rowboat that was about halfway between my ship and there's, used it to row a little closer and i tucked until they gave up with about half the loot so i proceeded to load it all onto the cannon rowboat from earlier as it was still there and they had stolen my other one, and i got all the treasure they left including the CoF, and i told my friend who helped me get it all to an outpost safely and i let him not only see his first CoF but cash it in as well. He had never done a FoF let alone seen the inside of the vault so he didnt know how much treasure was in there and when i showed him the little under half of the loot that was more than a regular skull fort, and the CoF that he didnt even know existed as he had never heard of it either, he suddenly learned why people always fight so hard for it, and decided that he was no longer going to let that keep him from doing FoF's as i told him that you really dont have much to lose but everything to gain assuming you dont have a lot of stuff on your ship. If only I'd watched more of your guides, maybe i could have gotten more, or even all of the loot and really blown my friend's mind
The ways people play this game are so weird. There's no strength progression, you're as strong at the start as you can get, eveything you buy with treasure is cosmetic. There's nothing to be gained but a good time, and this is how they're having fun? XD Just sail around, fight people, grab treasure and have fun. I guess if tucking is fun for people, they can do what they want, but it seems so boring to me, compared to the one folks are trying to 'get' and getting the gameplay of trying to protect yourself.
man 7 minutes in, what a dumb move, really dissapointed. didn't take anything from them, they had 80 wood planks you could have removed in transit, didn't even try
So you want to make other players so mad they decide to quit playing the game and tell other possible players its a junk game until you and your friends are the only players left then Rare decides well we have only a few players playing so lets drop the servers for this game and use them for a new profitable game.
It's fun to get people doing FotD and steal their ship away. Did that once with a Galleon and then tucked. They eventually found out and went back to finish the fort and collect the loot. All while I'm still hiding, they sailed all the way to reapers and started loading the treasure onto the island. I came out killed them and sold the chest of legends and some ashen skulls😅 Main message is if suspicious things are happening, check over the full ship. Whole time I was hiding in the little balcony behind the captains cabin. They didn't check it once😂
Hi Phuzz. How do I see if I sunk another ship in pvp. I had a fight yesterday sloop vs sloop. It whent ok. But we both sank and I don't know how to see if I got the "kill" so to speak. Thnx for the vida keep it up
Hello 👋 technically there's no way to tell if they did not sink in front of you. The only way to do it is if they had a reaper flag or something that marks them on the map, and see if it's not there anymore.
Phuzzy is a rare breed in that he enjoys inflicting emotionally damaging defeats in game but he literally dedicates so much of his time to helping others put up a fight - and will stick up for newbies he sees being bullied. The man is so wholesome it's unreal
Me and a friend got sunk today by a bunch of toxic french guys in a galleon after clearing out a skeleton fort and loading the goods so this video was just what I needed. Thanks for the indirect justice! Have a sub!
