I appreciate how this film managed to encapsulate the overall feeling of not just one day on the hill but a progesssion of all of the parts of skiing...the travel, the lifts, the crashes, the resort days, the pow days, the trick jam sessions...etc. beautiful work.
i love how they still featured the clip where the binding rips of the skis, someone could find that a proof of the ski build quality being poor, but i find it so in touch with reality, beacuse even the best gear of the world can break and sometimes you can't do anything about it, and this makes this brand so real, nothing is indestructible and every brand that tries to look like their stuff is it gives me a feeling of deceitfulness. simply(the best movie of the year so far)
If I remember well sampo or Laurent insta, this ski with the wood topshit was the proto. Simply start make ski really recently so not surprising that they made proto test in this clip
Whoever decided to stop the lovely music and suggested the ASMR of the skiing and the snow is the real MVP. As a skier, that sound is beyond satisfying and makes the visual so much more realistic.
