The Art of Shaving 

Hands down, the most legit shave I've seen on RU-vid!!! That barber was so professional and informative throughout the whole shave. Hats off to that guy. A pleasure to watch for sure :) Cheers, Jake

Everything about this session seems very relaxing from the atmosphere, the music, his voice, and his soft touch. Impressive

For my 21st I went to the store on 5th ave. NYC. I can honestly say it was the best shave I ever had. The service was outstanding, the products top notch and the quality of shave was second to none. I would love to go back. Highly recommend, great vid :)

I use all of the Art of Shaving products. They are just the best! There is no way I'd go back to using a bic and barbasol. Such high quality products that actually work, there is no gimmick here.

@SuperMarioY.....Joe Roberts is using a straight razor that has replaceable blades so I'm sure he's not worried about honing or keeping that particular blade after this shave.

@SuperMarioY This is why I try to perfect my daily routines into something slow and enjoyable. Traditionally wet shaving, loose leaf tea, hell even boiling an egg can be perfected.

I've had a beard for 10+ years, but I'd seriously consider going to the Art of Shaving near me, just for the sake of getting a Royal Shave.

Once you have a wet shave you will never get a shave anywhere near as good with a modern safety razor.

No brush? I've had the sales people at TAOS in Chicago swear by the brush.

A hot towel feels good and soften the hair. That's true. However, pores don't open, nor close. That's a myth. Ask any dermatologist or do a search on the web.
