I live in Taipei, Taiwan. The living functions are very convenient, but the pace of life is very fast. To be honest, some buildings are a bit ugly😛. I like the life videos you shot. I watch them on a big screen. The city you live in is beautiful, with street scenes and riversides. And your cute Mochi. Sometimes I pause the screen to enjoy it. When I saw the scene where the sauce expired, I also laughed.☺

I’m a big fan of impressionist and post impressionist painters like Monet, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec and Van Gogh. The painting you featured reminds me of paintings of Toulouse-Lautrec. I could spend hours of my day inside a museum just admiring the use of colors, brush strokes and the message it conveys. I googled the background of the painting. It is part of the series "the frieze of life" that I suppose must also be exhibited in the same museum. Munch seems to me a very interesting painter, with a tormented personality and a very complex and at the same time interesting inner world. I think Munch was an introverted person with a rather tragic personal history. For me his paintings are as if we saw the world through his eyes.

It's fantastic the way ancient people have built cities without the technology of today. I also love when you go to the museum. Amazing portrait.

I LOVED the walk through the old monastery grounds!! The old walkways bordered by low rock walls and rock steps gave an air of long, long ago and mystery. I could spend hours and hours there! The Munch art display was interesting. Just yesterday I read an article about a showing of some of his paintings that evoked distinct periods in his life: beginning with the darker themes of discomfort and disconnection, then ending with somewhat fanciful acceptance, contentment and hope. I wasn’t clear if the periods were more reflective of Munch or of the curator’s. More reading ahead. Lovely to see sweet Mochi and to “hear” your thoughts as you moved through your days! Thank you for sharing with us!

That napping pillow is both intriguing and absolutely terrifying lol. As for the horseradish sauce, at least in the US, the "expiration date" is really a "best by" date, so it's perfectly fine to eat it in a reasonable time afterward. BUT - your subtle musical segue was hysterically funny! You pick great locations, in great lighting/weather, and wrap it up in gorgeously appropriate music. BRAVO!!

Spain is like a continent and in each region we are very different, even between neighbouring regions or within each region. This is seen in many aspects: landscapes, customs, food and obviously the language. We have several official languages and dialects but the national language Spanish also has its own characteristics in each region and sometimes city, such as accent, expressions and vocabulary of its own. And in Latin America it is the same. That funny situation you experienced is not surprising for a Spanish speaker, it happens to us very often and can be very funny and even cause funny misunderstandings, since a word in one place can have a different meaning in another place.

Per quanto riguarda la lingua, in Italia ci sono tantissimi dialetti regionali, a volte incomprensibili, che si mischiano alla lingua italiana. Buona giornata dall' Italia! Hai chiesto dei dialetti. In Italia ci sono 20 regioni. Ogni regione ha tante città, ogni citta ha un dialetto! Una persona , per esempio di Udine, o Venezia , Torino, Napoli, Palermo, se parlasse il proprio dialetto non verrebbe capita da quella di un' altra città. Se un napoletano parla con me nel suo dialetto io non lo capisco, e così è per lui 😂 Ma ormai nel Nord e centro Italia ai giovani non sono stati insegnati i dialetti dai genitori e quindi non li parlano. Mentre in Meridione (Campania, Abruzzo, Sicilia , Sardegna ecc) i dialetti vengono ancora usati da giovani e vecchi per comunicare in famiglia e in società. La lingua ufficiale ovviamente è l'italiano ❤😊Grazie mille per i tuoi video, Mochi è una simpaticona! 🌼

Hello, at the beginning of the video when you were looking at the globe, you reminded me of myself, when sometimes I spend hours looking at Google Maps and surfing the Internet to see those places that I would like to see one day. Then in the part of the ruins, with that music in the background, it reminded me how silently and without realizing it, time erases everything and we fall into oblivion. Thank goodness Mochi was there to make me smile with the encounter with the cat to make me smile and leave behind the previous melancholy. The Munch Museum still hurts me, on my visit to Oslo, after seeing the Oslo Opera, my wife told me to visit it, but I was very sure of myself and told her "don't worry there is time, we will go another day", I wanted to cover too much and in the end we did not visit it, it was a mistake on my part. I would also like to congratulate you on your new boots, they look excellent. One of my favourite purchases in Oslo was the Norway national team shirt at the Oslo City shopping centre. It is a tradition I have of buying national team shirts from every country I visit and keeping them as a souvenir (the Norway one is still as good as new). However, the very kind seller offered me the Madrid and Barcelona ones, but I wanted the Norway one and insisted. It’s just me, I suppose. By the way, we got lost and couldn’t get out. I asked a man for help to find the exit. He was very tall, with big glasses, a huge beard and a huge backpack. He told me to follow him and we got lost again. I asked him if he knew the exit, to which he told me that he was from the north of Norway. It was his first time in Oslo, but while we were lost in that corridor, he said it naturally and with a smile. He looked very calm and confident, the opposite of me hahahahahaha 🤣, in the end we managed to get out and already on the street he rolled up his sleeves and said to us "the weather is so nice here in the South" my wife and I looked at each other (imagine what two people from the South of Spain thought at that moment) and I said thank you and we said goodbye, a great person. To the question you asked, this is my case, I live very close to Alicante (and Alfaz del Pi, a town twinned with Oslo and where many Norwegians live, look it up on the Internet if you want to know more) and here we speak official Spanish, but in the North they speak Valencian and Catalan, and in the South a different Spanish in Murcia and Andalusia (if you were in Seville you would notice the Spanish there), and sometimes in my own country it is difficult to talk to people of the same nationality. There I suppose that in all countries we have these similar cases. At minute 12 you come out in a park with a church, my wife and I were there too, I took some photos there (I love the architecture you have in the North, very different from where I live) and we were surprised to see people sitting on the ground to eat facing the Sun, there in many places, that yes later we understood, I don't want to offend, but in my country even in October we reach 30 degrees and I still wear short summer clothes, in summer we can pass 40 degrees, that's why here we run away from the Sun, hence the difference, three days after being in Oslo, we changed our minds and also looked for the Sun 😅. There's something vaguely familiar about the word "sjøstøvler" (we call them "gummistøvler"), but I can't say I've ever heard anyone from here use it. However, I feel it shouldn't be THAT difficult for us Oslo people to figure out that "sea boots" are probably the same as "rubber boots", especially when the asker speaks a different dialect, since those often inlclude different words for things (same as American/British/etc. English I suppose). I also enjoy taking "tourist" walks around town - I pass that Pascal bakery you visited in a recent video on my way to work every morning and I always look up at the domes on the old main post office across the street and at the former military school across the intersection (at least the half that isn't covered in scaffolding).
