TiltTrek explores the ins and outs of making a 31 game pinball deal and the games that come along in such an endeavor. Filmed at Tilt Amusements. You will want to see what happens.
I pondered the thought of selling everything too. But not in bulk. Id want top value. I cant imagine how Id feel after theyre all gone & would have to focus on my next "hobby" in order to not feel too much regret.
We have sold a decent amount of games over the years, but have always had at least one since the late 80s. I don't know what I would do if they were ever, all gone.
Imagine selling all your pins in bulk for $250k and then watching the buyer resell them for $50k - $150k more?! Ouch! This was not the smartest way to liquidate a valuable high end collection but certainly was the quickest. I would have called Bill Ramsey or captains and let them do their thing.
@@donh1511 it is very interesting. The sometimes hassles during selling are real. Meeting requests only to have people back out due to the distance that was posted in the original listing, is a real example of some of the yuck. Then there are the people who aren't even thinking of buying, but feel their opinions on price are something we all need to be aware of, just make you ask why am I doing this? But... For $100,000 I can put up with a ton of BS.
GRR looks Amazing but Plays like Shit!! Code is Garbage!!! I would be embarrassed if i was Slash!!! Venom LE is more fun than GNR!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE GNR music!!
No doubt. I passed on a GNR LE for $7000 cash on the glass. Maybe if they fixed the code it would be a better value. Of course how is a production run of 5,000 units "limited"?
Really awesome deal and great collection!! Subscribing to the channel :) A lot has changed since i bought my 3 games pricewise though. Bought my Addams Family in 2011 for 1800 euros. My new Transformers LE combo for 6700. Apparently 10.000 is now low cost? :)
Thank you for the subscription. For those of us who have been around for a bit, the new prices do take some getting use to. 0n the other hand, for the next couple of days we have a contest running until midnight cst on 4/4/24 for a FREE Elton John banner. Just like, and comment on this video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nDAvMtIrgek.html If you are still in the land of euros, you would need to pay shipping, but the banner is free!
These guys are awesome and probably the only distributor I’ll buy from. My first machines came from them and so shall my last. I’m blessed to live in ohio where the other location exists. Thanks for a wonderful video inside the process.
Do you ever travel in for their open house? A great way to play a lot of great titles. Plus for every Stern game they have a Pro sitting next to a Premium
@@TiltTrek when Trent here in ostrander does events I attend along with playing the tournaments he sets up like the upcoming pro circuit amazing race . However I’m still on the bottom of players so I learn as I go and hope to win one someday.
@@andysodyssey8174 keep playing. I don't believe anyone ever started at the top...although some of these kids these days are awfully good at a very young age, so what do I know...lol
I always wondered what would cause a person to go so “head over heels” in a hobby (any hobby) and suddenly loose interest in it? These games look cherry and a lot of love, money and effort was put into making these pins top notch, even with the mods he bought and never installed for them. I remember seeing his thread he started on pinside and he got a lot of responses, but I didn’t know he sold them all in bulk. What life changing thing would cause a person to do this?
Great Video, thank you for covering this, needed these details and post deal video to supplement the Pinside data, thank you. (P.S. that TWD was a premium.) :)
It was great fun seeing this leave Pinside and then become real. I know now that many have sold that I will be interacting with this deal for years to come.
Thx for doing this video! I also saw the Pinside post so it was cool to see the majority of those pins here. What a collection - wow. That JJP POTC LE. Oh my. Troy has it up for sale already….sooo tempting. I kinda wish I didn’t see it on this video.
Thank you. it's great that collectors keep games like this so that when they do come out we can all experience what many of these games were like back in the day or better.
These are in amazing shape!!! What a collection!! Follow up with links when he lists them! Would love to see prices and potentially consider buying one!
Just traded my Castus for a premium jaws hope made the right choice without playing it just hope it like my JP premium that game will never leave my house
