You know that it's not hard to move a car?.. You could drive to somewhere with enough space and then continue to Film it doing a real launch@@dirtybacon93
Don't matter about the "limp" launch. It's like the OG commercial used to say: I DON'T HAVE GO FROM 0 to 100 MPH in 1.78 seconds!!! BUT ITS JUST KNOW I COULD. or...you got a BILLION DOLLARS in your bank account. You don't have to buy the fanciest stuff you see. Houses, Cars, Travel. But just knowing you could!!
Not to sound kenyan or anything but what size of engine 4 cylinder would I need to use a generator remove a third of the batteries look for some stupid high capacitors 😂
@@averyparticularsetofskills my dumbass read that wrong and thought you said, “have you tried to pedal, right?” maybe adding pedal assistance would improve the acceleration. Mind you, getting out and pushing would be an incredible improvement too.
Nah, some of those old cars with minor tuning were actually quick. They tipped out early but the top 1/4 mile times back then were still pretty impressive.
The whole thing looks suspect. Like a fake plastic representation of what they want to make eventually, and maybe thats why he did such a slow pull. Just now wondering about that mirror. If it was so fast you do not want massive mirrors poking out that that it is horrible aerodynamics isnt it?
That is because that is all EV cars can offer "speed." No passion, style, heritage or cornering. Nobody is buying EV's to go for a spirited drive around the cannons.
"Aspark Owl EV Broke Two Electric Car World RecordsIt covered an eighth of a mile at an average speed of 192.03mph. Similarly, it blitzed through the quarter mile at an average of 198.12mph. That makes it the fastest-ever recorded average speed for an EV over the eighth and quarter mile." - it's fast but Blondie channel is a joke
To be fair, if he used the full potential of the vehicle, he would have gone off the track in literally less than 2 seconds. If it were an airfield, I'd agree with the comments.
Okay imagine you were a good swimmer, you tell everyone how fast you could swim however many meters. You say you’re gonna show how fast, despite being in a small pool, and then proceed to swim at a seemingly average rate. Is that a good way to show that off, when by that point you could probably find a bigger pool not too far away and actually show off how impressive you actually are?
@@Vin80_ That's not the point of what I'm saying. If you used your brain, you'd understand that I mentioned the airfield because that would be a proper test for it. Not this small road that could easily harm the driver and damage the vehicle. You used a terrible analogy. There's a major difference in risk between swimming and driving. What you're implying is that the driver should have crashed the car to prove a point. That's just plain stupid. Using your horrible analogy, that's like putting a blindfold onto a swimmer and telling them not to stop but go at full speed head first. Do you know what that could cause in a typical pool? Oh, I don't know, a concussion, render them unconscious and have them drown as a result, suffer major brain damage. Get the point yet?
@@Foreign501st my guy I NEVER implied he should crash the car, or that he had enough space, in fact I NEVER DISAGREED WITH YOU ON THAT (and I absolutely could try, but that’s irrelevant). He put the car in its most unrestricted mode, exclaims that he WILL do it, even having a mini drag strip with measurements, only to not do it. The damn point was what you say and do are two very different things, and you had to come to the conclusion as for why he didn’t on your own since it’s never stated or disclaimed. It’s bad enough the dude can’t get width and height right…
Holy crap- your RIGHT ! I hadn't figured that yet... if I ever would have... THAT REMINDED ME OF THE "BUCK RODGERS" 😢 I used to watch that BECAUSE I LIKED THE LADY IN HER TIGHT JUMPSUIT! And also that show " V " - and I saw an interview with some people that supposedly were involved in a cover up so, long story short- IF THEY WERE LEGIT, THAT SHOW " V " IS REALITY ( excepting them hanging about in the open. 1 part tells about a craft sucking up a little pond in the mountains and then shooting some energy type weapon at the 2 guys watching in the forest! 😂 ) - that craziness better be fake...
I saw it going downhill quickly when he said "very aggressive". Also notes that the Italian leather seats are bolted directly to the... wait... as opposed to all other vehicle seats that are stuck down with chewing gum? WTF?
@@nickadamson6053 🤣 This channel is a big Tom foolery. I don't see any significant information from SB reviews. These people don't know much about the car cultures either.
@@isthisevenaname if you had common sense, you'd have realized I was mocking your hyperbolic statement because it's the same statement man-children have been making about electric cars for years 😊.
For anyone wondering, Koenigsegg's REAL official channel is just their company name with no "_Official". @Koenigsegg_Official, maybe put more effort into impersonation.
Don't think it was an actual launch, one can see it's a separate shot n the track was small n very near to a curve, even if it launched he needs to be a pro driver/racer to not run offcourse into the grass out there, so yes my conclusion is that was not a launch n that track wasn't big enough to properly test it. Also I think the last part was intentional to get more views n cause viewers engagement giving exposure to the channel. 😉
you can define your coordinates however you want :^) and also the back is only two dimensional if you think about it. he'd call the side to side measurement the length
@@juvnal height is height, width is width, depth is depth. You cannot interchange them. He was gesturing height and said width! And BTW the earth is spherical not flat.
It really gets me that people who like electric cars don't realize it uses sooo much more burning coal to create the batteries that run it so it burns 10 TIMES more oxygen etc than an economical real engine!!!! Electric = AWEFUL for environment/ global warming!!
I think it's the same as trusting a phone battery in your pocket, you just don't consider it cumbusting. Also not to say that ice engines are 100% safe either.
EVs will probably be able to in a couple of years. Last week, Polestar was able to perform a charge on of their cars from 10 to 80% in 10 minutes. That will really need to be the standard if more people are to asopt the changed to EVs. Nobody wants to wait half an hour or more just to be able to ride again.
@lees3117 Unless you give me a gas car that I can refill from home for 1/5th of the cost of gas, goes 0-60 in 2 seconds and accelerates instantaneously without screaming like it is about to die, can update it's software over the air while I sleep, needs no maintenance because it doesn't need 2000 moving parts in the transmission, and is 10 times safer than the average car, I'll pass.
Fastest electric production sports car gets pulled over. Officer: “So son. What’s the hurry?” Driver: “trying to make it as fast as I can to get to the next charger. I’ve got range anxiety.”
Its an electric car. Just step on the "go" pedal and make sure its charged and you waited for the batteries to warm up. This isnt the 60s where you ACTUALLY had to no how to cut a light and feather a clutch in order to trap a fast 0-60. Any boob can drive these electric vaporware supercars at their limit since they're all AWD and just built for straight line acceleration. Nothing more.
@@christophercrysdale1652 On their website, it looks to be 0-60mph is the 1.73 seconds. Quite often car manufacturers say wrong things and then the media repeat it. Like how Toyota said the GR 3 cylinder was the most powerful 3 cylinder available, even though Konnegsig had a much more powerful 3 cylinder in the Gemera.
the remac is 0-60 in 1.7s, if this video isnt clickbait (and i do not know or pretend to) it might be the new champ. i think this one looks a little cooler too, even tho definitely not practical.
