Sahih bukhari mentions umar alkhattab as the door. First time hearing uthman as the door. Also the fitan started at time of uthman not after.

+Anomaly1111 Imam an nawawi (may Allah have mercy upon him) narrated it or compiled it in his book "al-Nawawi’s Tibyan fi Adab Hamalat al-Qur’an " Uthman ibn `Affan, Tamim al-Dari, Abu Hanifa and others would do this.
