Why do all the songs on this Soundtrack sound so old? lol, this sounds more like '92. Songs in 1996 didn't have all this percussion. Obviously, this is my first time hearing it, but the overall sound, sounds earlier than '96. This had to be recorded earlier and released in '96
This song sounds like Narada Michael Walden or Walter Afanisieff produced this. I would know that sound anywhere! I miss these rich ballads. This is what makes this album timeless. I'm glad these went with an uplifting AOR big sound on this soundtrack album instead the swing beat and Hip Hop Soul at the time, which would get dated.
