“…but I could have told you, Vincent, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you… starry, starry night… “. I always cry when I listen to this song and I adore you fio crying 🥰🎶💫🌻🌻🌻⭐️⭐️⭐️
OMG love that Christopher delved into June 21, 1889, the day Van Gogh painted Starry Starry night, based on Neil DeGrasse's research on the day and time of VanGogh's depiction.
Thank you so much, Christopher. I too am deeply moved by Vincent Van Gogh's life and amazing artwork. This was an amazing video with lots of helpful astrology, as well as a way to connect to Van Gogh from decades away. I didn't realize his north node was conjunct my sun. Perhaps that is one reason I love his work so very much. I am an introvert. And still, I was able to overcome my difficulties with crowds to travel solo to Amsterdam to the Van Gogh museum. Probably TMI, but by spending time there and soaking in his paintings, something in me healed. Thank you again for such a sincere and genuinely compassionate treatment of an artist who still impacts the world.
It's not TMI at all @katwyrdreit. It's generous of you to share your story. I hope one day to visit the Van Gogh museum myself. I have visited many great European Cathedrals, but not as yet that one. 😊
I couldn't help it. His story. His Art. His Horoscope. And that's one of the beautiful things about Astrology. It preserves the story of a person just like the rings in a tree trunk. 😊
Just awe struck, Christopher. I am Cancer rising, Venus in the 9th. Telling this story may have put me on a trajectory that drastically changes the course of my life. Thank you for your continued work that has always deeply touched my soul. Thank you. 🙏 In the coming weeks as we traverse these eclipses I shall discover just how you have impacted my life and I will be sure to let you know.
Makes sense that Sir Renstrom’s mother brought him to the traveling Van Gogh exhibition. For me, I always remember the football story with the father and brothers. We all have those who introduce us to our destiny and literally, bring us to the next place on our path. Grateful his mom was that person that day in San Francisco.
Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa. And thank you for making astrology so interesting through your story telling. I absolutely enjoy your approach and indeapth knowledge in sharing astrology and the historical alignment
Letters to Theo is hands down the best book I've ever read. I cried numerous times. I was also inspired reading his words. Vincent was a master painter and writer.
Dear Christopher , you’re such an amazing soul. You are so interesting and passionate in all your descriptions and explanations of each subject. I could listen to your stories all day . Love your work , thank you for sharing your passion with us. Sending you love for Montreal ❤
Thank you for this beautiful tribute to a life lived in struggle to be who he needed to be and the impact he made that was more than he could know. Everyone who struggles, and we all do at some point, should listen to this to help gain understanding of the importance of each and every life and moment lived. Bless you both.
What complete joy of learning ❤I am “With You” Christopher, loving how you have explained the whole chart of Vincent Van Gogh with tears flowing right before you shared precious words so emotionally heartfelt 🌟🌟🌟❇️💚a thousand thanks to you Christopher
Christopher, you brought Van Gogh back to life for us through this beautiful interpretation of his chart❤Much thanks for the gift of YOU & your channel 💞
Mr. Renstrom, I'm lost for words. All I can say is WOW! You do have amazing depth. Thank you again for your kind instructions and teachings. Your videos are life changing. God bless you.
I am in geek heaven listening to this!!! I love art, I love Vincent van Gogh, I love astrology, and I love Christopher Renstrom. I'm going to listen to this again and then some more.
Oh I loved this. I lived in Arles-en-Provence when I was 19-21 (50 years ago). I had a big picture book of Vincent's works and I would sit by the bridge he painted, or at the cafe he painted, or looking at fields of sunflowers and read about the tragedy and brilliance of his life. I was so in love with him. This was a perfect video for me. Thank you for loving Vincent, too.
This story made me cry and I am very difficult to cry. It had the deepest depths of a dramatic soul experience yet bringing so much insight to the world which will have an eternal life. Thank you ❤
It sounds like Vincent was looking for spirituality rather than religion - he found it via his art. Thank you for this marvellous explanation of Van Gogh's life. You need a cup of tea to regain your composure. I hope you were not too wrung out after producing this very interesting and passionate look at Vincent's chart, his life and art❤
You are right. He was looking for a spirituality beyond religion - and even a spirituality beyond the kind of painting that was being done at the time. He saw so much more than what others could even imagine. 😊
I simply loved your interpreting of this chart. I can not find a word to describe you and your work in the dictionary . Breathtaking, beautiful, kind, enlightening, deep, sincere........Thank you Christopher🥰🪐
Omg Christopher! I am in tears! 😢 Even though I knew of Van Gogh’s tragic life, you have woven in the details and emotion that have created such a bigger, more compassionate picture. My heart goes out to him and all those creatives that have been misunderstood or made to feel unworthy for attention of their craft. This was absolutely one of my favorites. Thank you so much for creating such beautifully crafted stories where I can see it all come together. Even through the tears, I can’t imagine experiencing this a better way. You are a gift❤️❤️❤️
I am so glad that you enjoyed this episode. I had been planning it for a long time. His is one of those wonderful occasions where the Astrology and the life meet. Thanks for watching. 😊
Listened while oil painting. 👩🏻🎨 I always loved Van Gogh, for his use of color. Now I love him even more for the richness you captured in the astrology and the thoughtfulness of describing his life. So enriching. TY ❤️
I'm so glad that you let us join you while painting @PaintingsbyMer. His is a story - and a horoscope - that I've been wanting to share for a long time. Thanks for watching. 😊
You never disappoint. The story of Vincent is so fascinating! You hold interest and give your explanations and descriptions such emotional depth. I knew just a little of his bio but not all this. Wow. The astrological explanations were just the frosting on the cake! You are such a wonderful historical astrologer! You bring your subjects to life! Thank You!!!!
Oh dear God, Christopher. It took me ages to get through this video. I dont know how you made it without balling your head off. You and i were both crying at the end of this. I have stood, inches away from his paintings, feeling itt all. Aroes rising, and late degree pisces moon., You can imagine. .. You honoured his story so beautifully. I have to put you on the level of my favourote dr who episide, about Vincent. This is no trite compliment. Please watch it if you have not already. You will feel your millions of soulmates and our love for this man. You done him proud, mate. You done 'im proud. Big, snotty, tears hugs. Xxx
Thank you so much!!! I was spellbound listening to your description of Van Gogh's life events, his chart, and the chart of Starry Night - which was completely unexpected! What an amazing delight to see how magic aligns between the painter and his famous painting (as above so below). You are a wonderful magician to weave them together through the sands of time. I love your portrait of Van Gogh more than the animated film ❤💝🥰 Painting is one of my hobbies since my natal Venus is also close to my MC and trines Uranus in 5th house (Libra). I have always had a talent for drawing and painting without trying hard. I love Van Gogh's paintings, especially the hypnotic lines in his paintings that are never quiet.
I LOVE your description Van Gogh's paintings as having hypnotic lines that are never quiet. That is an AMAZING line! Meanwhile I'm so glad that you enjoyed the episode. And yes! Everything born into this world has a horoscope - even a painting! I'm so glad that demonstrating the connection between the painting and him came across. 😊
Christopher, you are such a wonderful story teller. Thank you for making this beautiful and fascinating video. Your knowledge, empathy, & devotion shine so bright! 💙💙💙
This was wonderful teaching, Christopher. As an amateur artist and art historian, I really loved learning more about Vincent. And I love your passion. 😊
Insightful, learned, eclectic presentation. As moving to the presenter as it is to the listener. It is as wonderful to experience your erudition in the subject as your passion for it! Thank-you.
Christopher I love you such an amazing work Thank you Thank you……I m a conservator of high end artworks and had the multiple honour to analyse few Van Gogh treasures close up and being able to see the brush strokes and movement of his hand and was always moved by them for the use of colours and the brush strokes progressing and turning in every paintings, with the final starry night with complete swirls……this is how he did see the light. Thank you thank you also to show the chart of Theo and the starry night. Wonderful wonderful wonderful.❤
WOW! You've seen Van Gogh's paintings up close??? That must be AMAZING experience! It puts me in mind of a Holy relic! 😊I'm so glad that you enjoyed this episode @paola3207. It makes my soul smile to know that it made you happy. 😊
The word martyr has been going around and around in my head these last months, trying to understand what it has to do with Saturn in Pisces and why we in the West are just now being confronted with a radical adjustment in our thinking about cultures for whom this concept is central. Your talk was so meaningful and I'm left with the impression that an area Saturn in Pisces is asking us to grow, in relation to this concept of the martyr, is in seeing the worth of things before they are gone completely.
Thank you so much for reading Vincent's chart. And thank you for mentioning about the circumstances around his deceased brother. I believe the fact that Vincent was a "Replacement Child" was a large part of his issues in his life. I too was a replacement child and it's been a large part of my life issues.
Thank you! Your passion, and joy for Van Gogh's life is so beautiful and touching. And your research and the Astrological facts you shared...oh my! THANK YOU.
Christopher, that was such a great adventure you took us on.Thanks so much for having the brillant idea to do the artist/painting chart and share it with all of us. That was simply splendid! Do you know of the poet David Whyte and his poem, "Self Portrait"? Well, David says he wrote that after being at the Van Gogh Museum and seeing his paintings after he cut his ear off. He went back to his room after contemplating that and wrote his poem. One line " ...I want to know if you know how to melt, Into the fierce heat of living, Falling toward the center of your longing..." In either case, I thoight you might want to read it or read it again with that info in mind. I love his poem but knowing what he saw and what prompted him to put pen to paper gives it extra meaning. Jamie Magee from Astrology Hub told me she forwarded an email to you from me. I tried to contact you through your site and never heard back. So I hope you got that email and can answer me. Thanks.
Thank you Christopher, heartfelt, beautiful, insightful, a true sharing of love and appreciation. A favorite painter, a fav painting: Stary Night, a favorite astrologer: YOU!
And what jump out of his paintings is the love of what he did see and the joy of I would say the creation….and now it is clear in your analysis thank you again
Christopher thank you from the bottom of my heart, I am a avid fan of Vincent too I have the starry night on my wall that I recreated in diamond art, it has the bright swirls in beautiful sparkling stones, it’s like a vortex of awe and beauty. It’s in my business on my wall and everyone that sees it draws a breath of wonder. It’s one piece that I’ll never part with, it is one of my favorite pieces that he created and while I was listening to you I’ve been working on his version of the stars over the river. I too have always loved starry night as it speaks to a part of my soul as I’m an avid moon lover. I felt your passion and pain and wonderment and I say thank you again for your wonderful talent ❤❤❤ bless your beautiful beautiful heart
And bless your beautiful heart too @justmepatsy. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the episode and hope to see your version of Starry Night one day. I know that it must be breathtaking! 😊
What a beautiful testament Christopher, last Summer I went to go see "Van Gogh, an Immersive Experience " , I highly recommend it, it was touring the country in the US. I appreciate you sharing this, Namaste and Blessed Be ❤❤❤
Beautiful. Am amazed. Been studying Astrology for 2 Yrs now. Christopher has no idea how his own artistic values have shaped my insight. Thank you for these videos. This one is my favorite. Julie from Calgary.
I'm so glad that you enjoyed this episode on Vincent Van Gogh, Julie from Calgary. To me, art and Astrology have always gone together. In fact much of the history of Astrology appears in illuminated manuscripts, the ceilings and floors of synagogues and churches, as well as paintings depicting the planets and signs. I'm so glad that you are studying Astrology and Astrology is made all the richer because of you. 😊
What an absolutely marvelous presentation. A wealth of teaching and learning packed into this presentation for newbies and oldies and in betweens! Thank you!
Aries Sun, Libra Moon, Leo ascendant… is very touched by your generosity, honesty and transparency of emotions…. I bow before you…. I am still learning to accept being hypersensitive… still feel it is perceived like weakness… Even if myself, I recognize nothing but all the strength of pure sincere emotions. I love how you present those celeb charts. Stay the way you are, very precious ❤
❤❤❤ You are Amazing! Thank You 🙏 Christopher, your empathy for him is so enduring…! Love your telling of stories…! It really helps me better understand the stars! ✨
I'm so glad that this helps you to better understand the Stars. There is SO MUCH Astrology in our history and art and literature and the world around us. Thanks for watching. 😊
