+James K - If you need something to penetrate walls very well, get a modern dual band wi-fi router with a dedicated SoC radio for the 2.4GHz band. Some good routers that come to mind are the TP-LINK C2600, C8, and ASUS AC87, AC68U, AC66U.

FadedTheGamer need to know but id assume no bc the R1 is meant for very low bandwith so it can start boosting and improvising an this one is a beast for prolly only a couple months

Man I have Asus 68u , one year old and now it's garbage lol time to waste another 300 dollars but I don't have to say my 68u has some crazy ass range,like two house down and it still works
