WHAT IS THE ATHEIST EXPERIENCE?
The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.
The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.
We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

~ After listening to so many callers in archived videos, I keep hearing "king" "ruler" "the 'rulership' of god" "master" "queen" and "lord," and many other terms that have to do with the Bronze Age or medieval theocratic / monarchal constructs in religious delusions coming from callers. This is the 21st century, and democracy is the accepted form of government (with all its imperfections) in major countries like the United States, France, Australia, and India. More reasons (I live in a democracy) to be an avowed atheist. Cheers, Russell & Don here, DAVEDJ ~

The kids i know say, Your Spiritual side is just your imagination. They don't trust religious adults preachy imaginary advise.

Rich - "I have no idea why I do anything, Its just what I have been brainwashed to think" is all I am hearing. There is an actual reality the rest of us have to work with, I hope you join us at some stage.

The best way to get the hosts on your side, be sure to let them know that you hoped matt would be there. That's not at all insulting. But truth be told, the reason they say they hoped matt would be on, is to let everyone know that they have the balls to go toe to toe with the champ. It's to say the really wanted a challenge. And a major part of that is that they are trying to convince themselves. Fact is, they called on this day, specifically because matt was not on. And if you watch a lot of these, you'll notice the same caller will always call when Matt isnt there.

I have a spiritual side and it’s really important to indoctrinate children into this my superstitious beliefs. But I don’t know what spiritual actually means. And my superstitions are so vague that it’s impossible to put them down. Except porn and swearing, those are bad. This guy thinks he’s a thinker! How about some failures of the American education system?

I don't really know my own holy book, but every Sunday a man tells me what to think and i just go with that. And that's a benefit to society. And definitely one of the positives is shame and making natural things like sex a shameful thing. 🙄

There are some people that are happy to donate to religious organisations. I'm not really sure why they do it. Jesus doesn't donate. He saves.

21:30 "Incan religion wasn't good for society" I think there had to have been _some_ benefit. what's more, I think the list of the beneficial aspects would be more or less identical to what this guy presumably thinks is beneficial about Christianity

Boy would you like to talk to me .my first question was why hell or fear.your callers ask what to do with out faith or a good .ive figured out this one my own .i just stumbled on this show and I don't even know if calling it a show but boy if one thing I will like is to share
