Sarr isn't Luka. Maybe he will be great like Luka (probably not), but the same thing you can say about every player in any draft (that maybe he will be great star someday). Luka was something else. At 19 years old he was already the biggest star out of the NBA (the mvp in the Euroleague, (second best professional league). Just idiots can't understand he is going to be one of the greatest players in history. So yeah nobody can promise you that Sarr is going to be better player the others.

@@user-sl1xk5jt3m I’m not saying he’s gonna be great forsure I’m just saying when it was between drafting Luka and Trae Luka was the obvious better pick I wanted Luka to be a hawk and we took a risk on Trae by trading down for him and now look ima Trae young fan but cmon we let Dallas get a future goat so my point is why trade down when we can secure a great pick there’s a reason everyone said immediately he’s the best talent there is in this years draft why trade it away when we can definitely use the pick in a weak draft where we probably weren’t gonna get a star anyways n now we can one with the most potential in the draft.

@@user-ky8rx9wt7d Last year Wembanyama was the best talent for sure. He was so promising talent that Popovich thought to retire and decided not to after they got first draft pick. That's draft is different, nobody knows, we are just guessing. In 2018 Boston traded first pick with Philadelphia for third pick and first round pick in 2019. Boston got Tatum (and use the other draft pick to get Kyrie) , Phili got Fultz. Boston definitely earned in this trade. You aren't trading first pick for free. Most of the people thought that Fultz is the best talent there, but Ainge thought that he wasn't good enough, and he understood he could get the player he wanted in this draft and a nice unprotected draft pick.

The team who took wemby with the first pick you can go through any draft class and I’m sure there’s more than plenty of teams who traded down and maximized their first round pick for a diamond in the rough player with lots of potential and many teams who’ve taken a first round bust like Andrew Wiggins but either way in a draft that’s so weak with not much talent no only my opinion but most sport professionals speaking currently on this the smartest decision would be to just take the most obvious pick with the first pick. The only way it wouldn’t make sense is if the best talent was a PG but Alex start would fit PERFECTLY in the hawks line up keeping and moving okongu and we’d have a solid defensive player who can score when needed
