The best advertising a company can get is John Mayer talking honestly about it.

I would like to thank The Atlantic, Jason, Eric, the Film Crew and John Mayer. Working on this commercial was a dream come true and the Film Crew was just classic! Just so everyone knows, very little if any was staged, the lines were completely improv and I found a profound chemistry with everyone that was there that day on the Smith River in Jedediah Smith State Park Redwoods, California. Because of John's fun loving jovial approach to life, everyone there was set at ease, it was just fun and most of the time we were laughing at some joke he made so it was funny too. John's talent goes way far beyond writing music, he is like one of the Beatles in an interview where the jokes just flow. Who would of thought in my lifetime I would be chosen for this small part as the fly fishing guide. I am honored but more so, I hope we inspire more of you to get out into nature and explore our great nation. "The only thing that's perfect is nature, everything else is naturally imperfect." This is a beautiful video. My wife and I took a trip to Eureka and spent a week in the sequoias and redwoods (just before the birth of our first son) in 2019. This experience takes me back to those peaceful, quiet times. A much-needed pick-me-up, as this year, the State is on fire and blue skies are nowhere to be found. I made this journey, leaving my VW bus parked at home, and hitchhiked by myself, met a traveler along the way to hitch with, stayed on a farm in Miranda, then continued on to Oregon... hitched back to the farm, say the guy, and after two days headed back home...was back at work at the Radio Station by Midnight Saturday/Sun 2ks later! Great adventure for me @ 16yrs old!
