The Atomic Punks...A Van Halen tribute band from Hollywood California rocked Oak Mountain Amphitheatre on June 8th 2013. This is their entire awesome show from that night.
George Jetson I agree !!!! They looks and sound like a cover band now. Ralph and Russ were the best. Of course, the "real Van Halen" are back together and they didn't want a cover band sounding better than them.
I have a lot of respect for this guitarist especially his tone, but the intro to panama was just awful. Panama is not that hard to play. Plus it was a lot slower paced then it should be. The rest is great though.
Who is this guy? The only time I heard somebody new that kicked the originals ass was when the Beatles were replaced with lookalikes and that skinny guy that was American who talked with a British accent replaced lennon.
Alex is just as important to Van Halen as Neil Peart is to Rush. I just wish these drummers in Van Halen tribute bands would play it the right way. The songs otherwise lose their magic and soul. Where is the brown sound?
Ralph was definitely the frontman. Its ok but Ralph was the ticket. Guys good but,..Ralph was even better than Dave on live Van Halen vocals. Ralph was pretty scary. Want to see something really funny..?? Look at this goof balls out of Chicago. FAIR WARNING..
I can’t stand that song Pretty Woman. Van Halen covering a Roy Orbison song. Wtf? This dude sounds like DLR. Great guitar player. I would go see them. Go get a beer/ pee break when they do Pretty Woman
