Christ bore Hell so that we will experience Heaven - what Grace, what Mercy; it is matchless!

The atonement. The payment for my sins. Laid upon our Savior was the sins of the world. What a great atonement. What a great accomplishment.

This makes me fear God even more, and amazed by the extraordinary grace He has given me, a rebellious, sinful enemy of the cross. Thank you my Lord and my God. Glory to you alone, forever.

The irony of Dr. Sproul's story of the cross at the end of this teaching is that St. Andrew's cross doesn't have a vertical or a horizontal beam. In a St. Andrew's cross, both of them are diagonal, in the shape like an X, not a T.

very nice sermon for a Calvinist who subscribes to limited atonement. I would swear that RC said that Christ's ransom was paid for all. But that payment is not accepted for those who do not recognize and accept Christ's gift.

Necessary because We NEEDED it to be for nothing good dwells in our flesh in this form so by his death and show of LOVE for us HE DID IT ! And rose again on the morning of the 3rd day for our Justification and so that when he returns we will in fact have the LIVING God with us Forevermore. 😂 Come Lord Jesus right after you by thy Spirit and Son SAVE the very last person destined for Paradise.
