That being said, we’ll have to leave that one up to him and his beliefs, but I see where you’re coming from. Maybe we can get West Coast Armor to fashion something specific for him with some ballistic capabilities. Talking about all this does make me think about how a lot of operators were wearing baseball caps in early GWOT to signify they were SOF and would come after you if you shot at their convoys. You need to define "SHTF." A tornado? You need a credit card, a flash drive with documents and pictures, phone, government IDs, and a working vehicle. An economic collapse? Well, a number of "migrants" to Europe had credit card or other money, maybe a flash drive with documents and pictures, a phone, a water bottle, and maybe government IDs. Sometimes an extra shirt. What about a CW? "Minimum" is a rifle, maybe an extra mag, and a water bottle. Maybe sandles too? But a more precisely defined situation or context can get you a better answer. And maybe the real value for you is "define your SHTF." When you define it clearly and explicitly, often the "what do I need" question answers itself.

@@johnjmw1 a few times during my career I’ve been in team leader positions, so most of my kits are set up for dual comms. During filming we bring out radios for the crew, and since I always have an extra pouch I naturally end up with it by the days end. Really appreciate you checking in, hope you enjoy the series. 🤙🏼

@@gunnersecuador7515 I think you misunderstood us or perhaps we misspoke, I’d have to go back and listen again, but what we were referring to is the potential problems associated with initiating an ambush with a belt fed and it jamming, where a Law rocket, AT4, claymore, etc are violent and instantaneous, & potentially a better option for initiating the ambush. Not sure about the “quiet ambush” you’re speaking of.

It’s not a suppressor, it’s a “blast can” (or at least that’s what I think they call it). We use it in classes for shooting the vtac barricades, so we don’t tear them up with the muzzle devices. We’ve had a few students place their muzzles through the cutouts, but their muzzle devices sometimes blow pieces of the plywood off. We just used it for the theatrical portion of the intro to simulator a shot from a suppressor. Hope that helps, & thanks for tuning in! 🤙🏼
