This is amazing! Ireland is one of very few countries where the musicians have so much respect for their fans and charities that they gather to play the old classics in the freezing cold and still create the warmest of atmospheres!

I think they're all great, wether you think they can sing or not. They were there and they gave it their all and it looked like a great time was had by all.

Even better than last year! Glen's not only talented musicaly but his ability to bring people together and leave us all feeling connected is indeed a gift.

@kenpodub32 Glen, via social media, announced his intention to busk and raise money for a charity cause and invited others to join him for the first time just before Christmas Eve in 2009. The turn out was amazing. He repeated it again last Christmas with what appeared to be an even greater turn out. We can only hope this will be year 3 of a most wonderful communal event!

dont usually comment...but...living away from home, moved away for a girl but sometimes wanting to go back home to ireland but can't because of the lack of jobs and it breaks my heart, but seeing something like this reminds me why i love home and why we surely can arise again. slan libh
