The Auschwitz Bombing Controversy in Context 

Another point was that the report warned the Hungarian Jews of their pending fate. They Told them explicitly not to get on the trains but to rebel at the loading points. Once on the trains they were doomed because the Nazi killing machine was so well tuned resistance was not possible at the camps. However there was a chance of successful resistance at the loading points. They were ignored and the Jews of Hungary by the thousands peacefully boarded the cattle cars to their deaths. Because the Jewish leaders did not believe the report and did not warn the people.

As somebody who’s grandmother perished in Auschwitz I was intrigued by this topic. However, one needs to keep in mind that the major deportations happened between may 15th and july 9th a time when the allies were focused on the Dday operation and the allies didn’t break out of Normandy till late July. Also, they may have been skeptical of what was being reported. Didn’t the US just go to war in Iraq based on reports of Iraqi WMD’s which were never found.

After 11.07.1995. after Serb forces killed in tree days more than 8.000 males in Srebrenica - Bosnia - among them also my cousins from my mother side, very often I ask my self how is possible that so many allied aircrafts that in that time have full control of Bosnian sky haven't bomb roads, bridges or facilities where this mass crime have places?! This story brings me to Auschwitz. Personally I can not understand how anyone can't see this huge death factory?! 1.1 milion people have been killed, how many people must be engaged in this operation....and nobody know anything! Same stories by the Serbs forces in East Bosnia. How many people must be engaged to kill more than 8000 males with bullets or slaughtered in just three days?! How can they see them selfs in mirror this ordinary Germans after World War II or ordinary Serbs after Bosnian war - which ware directly involved to this projects! That are questions that I will put my self to the end of my life.
