Agreed. I really like this. Plus I honestly think this is totally in keeping with the feel of their later music. There's more rapping, but the chaotic, 'big' sound, the distinctive mix of chill and intensity, it sounds very 'Avalanches' to me.

This is the best sort of masculinity. Slightly chaotic, inventive, brashly blowing out boundaries - nobody getting scapegoated/put down. These guys are legends. The world needs this x1,000,000.
Such an underrated band. Their songs are just beautiful and flow together so nicely. I absolutely love the massive amount of energy they have during this performance.

As someone who would rank WWALY as my favourite album of all time it's so weird to go back and listen to their music from this time. It sounds nothing like the album yet still sounds just as amazing in it's own way. Kind of wish we got more songs in this style from them now

I'll concede that they may have become more technically proficient musicians, but no one can convince me they're more fun to see live now, than they were back in the 90's. Good times.

They're working on a new album. Since I Left You recently got a repressing, and they're releasing a deluxe edition repressing loaded with all sorts of other great goodies! The second they step foot into the US I'm buying a ticket haha
This reminds me of Man Man a little bit. Just the high pitched goofy singing I guess. These guys make some original tunes. Etoh is such a killer song too.

WannaTradePants I've been trying to find the "Keep up (alive?)" and just a lot of the stuff in that first hip hop beat towards the intro if that makes sense. Like that haunted house synths sounding thing omg I love that.
Come on. Wildflower was a disappointment. Using "feats." instead of raw sampling? They had no business with original rap after Seltmann left. Honestly that album would be a solid 10/10 too without the feats. DOOM's was the only one worth mentioning too, and somehow they fucked up the engineering to where you can hardly hear his verse on Frankie Sinatra. All in all, those feats. ruin the album - like putting too much salt on food. What I would give for a version of Because I'm Me without those shitty rap verses.
the feats were amazing. Biz Markie was a goofy ball of fun Danny Brown did amazing, camp lo fit like a damn glove. You have no sense of adventure or fun and are weak.
Correct, that is Darren. I believe on keyboard and vocals is Tony Di Blasi, on the left of the screen is James Dela Cruz(?) not sure, and in the back on the turntables is DJ Dexter Fabay. And Robbie Chatter is on the drums.
