Yeah I started from since I left you then when I saw fuckville and saw that this song was from the avalanches too I was spooked and listened to more from them. So far I like their newest album Wildflower for it's 70s vibe and how...serene it feels, it's really solid to listen to on a long car trip through the mountains. Man we need more avalanches.
+Urska Jinx one of the original developers just posted the JSR logo on his Twitter account with no info about it. He could be teasing that there's a new game in the works. I would literally faint if that's true
A lot of Japanese jokes/songs make use of rhyming words or puns. They're making a good sounding rap out of words that sound the same: "otoko" (man) "otona" (adult) "otouto" (little brother) "onna" (woman) "kodomo" (kid) "kudomono" (fruit) etc. etc. It doesn't always translate into English, but it's pretty funny in Japanese.
Better(?) lyrics: Yu ga nda ishiku to fushikure data (Flute solo) ~A-LL-ga, A-LL-Ga!~ Ee, sou ii desu ne! Afureru saka na to neon no sango, Otona no onna to kodomo no otogo Doumena ototo robureta opuu Otona no otogo to kodomo no onna [x2] (Trumpet Solo) Yu ga nda ishike to fushiku re data Heightened courage Undersea community Afureru sakana to neon no sango Doumena ototo robureta opuu [x2] Heightened courage Undersea community! A sea anemone cocktail, followed by oyster liquors
Rhyzo I played it back when it was under the subsection "Dress up games - not hot women". Because parents will never question something like that in their web history.
Rhyzo Good times, good times. That game brought me here, too. I always liked dressing up the alien from Alien Hominid and the blue monster, who I believe was the Synj mascot.
Lyrics - Johnny, it's Frank, open up Look you've been in there for three weeks Now come on, open up Johnny, Johnny, out of my way I'm watching television, are you crazy? That's the test pattern, I like it Well, there are two things to be done First of all, we put him in the hospital And withdraw all television, I see And then, we give him this radio Radio, radio, radio, radio, radio, radio Sending those signals, sending those signals(repeated like 1m times)
Why is the final section of the song cut out? That's one of the best parts. Also, I'm a huge fan of the Avalanches, but the first time I actually heard this was on the "synj dress-up" game by Dan Paladin on Newgrounds.
yuganda ishiki to fushikure datta afureru sakana to neon no sango, otona no onna to kodomo no otoko toumei na oto to yogoreta onpu, otona no otoko to kodomo no onna x 2
i dont know everything he says but basically its jumble. boy girl boy girl child (otoko onanako kodomo) maybe something about a fish sandwich too?? one of the original members of the band was a japanese tourist, back when they were a punk thrash noise band, then they found a sampler and... at least thats what I read somewhere. the Japanese guy went back to japan and roll on rock city. I wish they would make a live dvd
I heard this on some newgrounds game years ago and it fucking annoyed me because it was goddamn impossible to find the song anywhere online so I had to keep playing the game to listen to the song lol. goood times.
I can translate this, roughly... Doesn't make much sense but here it is... Johnny, it's Frank, open up Look you've been in there for three weeks Now come on, open up Johnny, Johnny, out of my way I'm watching television, are you crazy? That's the test pattern, I like it Well, there are two things to be done First of all, we put him in the hospital And withdraw all television, I see And then, we give him this radio Radio, radio, radio, radio, radio, radio (There is more but i cant fit it in, HF)
